Came around 9:30pm, and only drive-thru was open. I've never heard of Freddy's, but a burger sounded good after a long time on the road. The building looked new and bright. The parking lot was clean. I ordered an original steak burger and had a few of my husband's fries. No cheese or ketchup or mustard on my burger. Since I'd never been there before, I didn't dawn on me to ask for these items. So, I ate my burger with raw onion slice, dill pickles, and no cheese or ketchup. The temperature was just warm. The taste of the burger patty tasted exactly like a frozen burger I had last night that I bought at Costco (it was frozen and after 2 min in the microwave, you have a "flame-broiled" burger ready to eat). The fries are thin, like shoestring fries, and have a flavorful seasoning on them. I didn't know that Freddy's has "Fry Sauce" until the end of our meal when I found it at the bottom of the bag.

The service was good. We both had a double burger with fries. I didn’t know it was shoe string fries, they’re my least favorite. The burgers were good but they were very salty. Is that because of too much seasoning or is that how they’re made?I had a cup of their frozen ice cream thing (concrete, maybe?). It’s very creamy and delicious.

In the past couple of years, the first Freddy's in my area has deteriorated in terms of food quality. In fact, it was shut down a little while for majorly failing inspection. Consequently, we stopped going to our favorite Freddy's for a while. Fast forward a year or so, and we have a new Freddy's at Towne Center Covington, whose food quality, service, cleanliness and atmosphere--at least for now-- is top of the line! I really hope they continue operating with the exceptional professionalism we the paying public really appreciates.

Great food, with large portions. It was a wonderful break from the regular McDonald's, Burger King, ect. fast food chains. Employees are friendly and courteous. Definitely gonna be a once every couple of weeks trip.
