Hands down the best bbq we're had since moving to the area. We got the pulled pork, Mac n cheese and collard greens. Everything was so good and fresh. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My wife and I visited Socks for lunch and found the BBQ to be good but expensive, as most BBQ is.... Great flavor of the meat and good choice of sauces to use. Portions were good and the overall experience was good.

Best brisket and Mac around! Brisket was fork tender and just melted in your mouth. Bbq sauce was a vinegar base and tasty. Mac was creamy and using big ziti noodles a gooey goodness. Hubby ordered sausage and brisket. They had three different sausages to choose from. He picked the chipotle and havarti cheese blend and it was very good, house-made too. I was surprised they didn't have a plain sausage to offer. Fried roasted corn was good but kinda lacked seasoning. I added some S&P and it was good to go. Baked beans were good but tangy. They were very vinegary and had loads of sugar. The two things together is an overpowering mess. Less sugar is definitely needed here. My hubby loves bbq beans but only ate half because they were that sweet. My #1 thing is to snap pics and I was so hungry, I forgot. We will definitely go back. They have greens and they looked awesome.

Arguably some of the best BBQ one could ever hope to have! And the sides are top-notch too. The collard greens were so fresh you almost thought they grew right out back! Staff is friendly and attentive as well. Place is clean and well-kept. Props to the owner for high-quality recipes and procedures.

We stopped in having heard about this bbq through an event they catered. Was greeted by a friendly employee who offered information that was helpful in making decisions on our first order. I got a brisket sandwich with OMG Mac n Cheese and after I sampled a piece of brisket that fell out of my sandwich I went back to the employee to share my sheer joy with the flavor in my mouth! This was the best brisket I have ever had! The Mac and cheese was worthy of its name but I would also add OMG to the fire roasted cream corn. Also the very best I have ever had! The owner Steven stopped by to chat and we found him to be a most likable guy. We will be back!!!
You know it's gonna be amazing barbecue when that beautiful smell hits you at the door. I regret not taking any pictures, but I can highly recommend the brisket, pulled pork, and baked beans! All delicious and great smoke flavor! Awesome friendly service!

The best brisket in Cumming area and maybe all of Georgia! I'm a BBQ snob and they know how to select the perfect fat to meat ratio with their beef! It may not be grassfed but it tasted local and fresh! It is expensive, but worth the splurge if u crave for perfect brisket. If you like Jim and Nicks, you will LOVE socks! I was picking on it as I drove home, almost finished it before reaching my destination. That good!!! And everyone is so loving! Wonderful customer service! Makes you feel good spending so much when you feel loved and food is delicious!

So. Dang. Good. I've had quite my share of bbq and it's one of my favorites for sure. This place is incredible! The brisket is the best I've ever had. They've somehow managed to make the turkey incredibly juicy and flavorful. The bbq pork is stellar. And the Mac and cheese...just get the Mac and cheese. The staff is great, the portions are huge, the food is phenomenal, and the price matches all that. Ownership is great as well. In short, there's no reason not to stop in. Get there early if you want to snag a spot to dine inside, it's a bit tight in there.

Group of 6 guys went to Socks Love, 3 of us shared the Platter for 3 - A delicious feast of chicken, turkey, pulled pork, brisket, and a white cheddar sausage. The platter also included five sides, we chose mac & cheese, brisket chili, baked beans, creamed corn, and the best side we tried was the collard greens. Fantastic! I can see why the AJC voted Socks Love as the best BBQ in the Atlanta area.
