I drove from East Hall to have lunch by myself because the menu here has had my interest for awhile now.I had the Southern fried chicken salad with the popular house dressing. The absolute best salad I’ve had in years. Now waiting for the arrival of peach cobbler with ice cream. ?I look forward to bringing my husband back soon. There are several dishes I need to try over time so I’m excited for future visits!! Thanks for a wonderful lunch.

OMG!! Went for lunch today and was God smacked!!! Food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! The sweet potato biscuits were off the chart...served warm with a dollop of butter...I'll be dreaming about them!! Hushpuppies were to die for!! Perfectly spiced and fried to perfection!! Ordered the Tupelo Chicken...Amazing!! It's a grilled boneless skinless chicken breast topped with fried green tomatoes, peppered bacon and melted Gouda!! Fries were hand cut and cooked to perfection!! Service was fabulous..attentive and quick!! What a joy to find such an amazing restaurant right in Cumming!! Can't wait to go back!!! Super comfortable ambiance..

Generous portions! Super tasty. Really nice people work here. Highly recommend! Really close to 400 and Market Place.

Absolutely delicious Scallop Risotto is the best way to describe the dish I had tonight at Tam Tupelo Restaurant! I really enjoyed the French Onion Soup! Yummy!! The salmon was cooked nicely, and the half pound brisket burger was delicious as well! ? The sweet potato biscuit with sweetness on top was quite nice! Service was really good!

A Louisiana Culinary DelightI recently savored an unforgettable dining experience at a Louisiana-style restaurant. The perfectly cooked salmon, adorned with a flavorful herb crust, delighted my taste buds. The scallops risotto was a creamy indulgence, and the gumbo presented a hearty and flavorful medley of chicken, crawfish and andouille sausage. Not to be missed was the brisket burger infused with mouthwatering flavors. Additionally, the free sweet potato biscuits added a touch of sweetness to the meal, making them a delightful accompaniment.Last but not least, the French onion soup was a highlight of the meal. Its rich and comforting broth, topped with perfectly melted cheese and caramelized onions, transported me to the heart of French culinary tradition. In conclusion, this beautiful restaurant from the delicious salmon and indulgent scallops risotto to the hearty gumbo, tempting brisket burger, sweet potato biscuits , and unforgettable French onion soup, each dish showcased the skillful and experienced chef who prepared them.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Tupelo restaurant and I must say we were thoroughly impressed! From start to finish, our experience was amazing.First, the menu selection was outstanding. They had a wonderful array of dishes to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable the prices were compared to the quality of food we received. Our server was super friendly and a pro at what she did. She clearly had been in the restaurant business for a while and made sure to provide us with excellent service throughout our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, with comfortable seating that was just the right amount. The lighting and ambiance were perfect for a relaxing dining experience.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our first dining experience at Tupelo and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The menu selection, pricing, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch!

*updated 6/17 - we visited here a few weeks ago and loved the food, but service was terrible and I highlighted that. Visited again, as promised, and was not disappointed. As with our first visit, the food was amazing. My wife had the lobster Benedict for the second time and I tried the brisket burger after first trying the Reuben a couple weeks ago. The food here is fantastic, flavorful, and served hot. Today's experience was much better. Our waiter Tyler took great care of us and was very attentive. As we will be moving back to North Georgia, this may become a local favorite for us.

It is my goal to eat everything on Tam's brunch and dinner menu. You can not go wrong with any of the options. The vibe is romantic/ elegant while also laid back. It is always clean! The staff works hard to be quick and efficient with your order. I can say I have never waited long for my food or water refills even when they are busy. My recommendations: make sure you ask for the sweet potato biscuits if they don't come. They are little biscuits sent from heaven straight out of the kitchen. The scallops risotto are 100% worth the money. I eat on the leftovers for a couple of days. Roasted jalapeño margarita is on point always! "Hush puppies" are a go to appetizer. They are really a take on Cajun boudin balls. Yum! My compliments to the chef!!! I recently took my father for Father's Day. They had 3 new specials-- one being halibut. We shared the halibut and surf and turf. The halibut was phenomenal ( I had a hard time sharing it). My Dad said it was the "best steak he had ever had." I need a membership card to this place, y'all! Absolutely fantastic!

Charming Ambiance - massive chandeliers and warm finishes make this a very cozy dining room. I keep forgetting to take photos! After several visits for To Go, lunch or dinner, it is time I rave about Tams! The food is really good and moderately priced. Every dish I've tried I really enjoy. Appetizer: Warm Pimento Cheese Bruschetta toasted and topped with Balsamic Glaze & fresh chopped basil will melt in your mouth! Delicious! The grilled salmon is crisped with a perfect sear. The Cajun Pasta is full of flavor. The southern sides are delicious. I haven't tried any desserts yet but I imagine they will be wonderful!

We love Tams Backstage restaurant. We try to visit there every time we’re in town. I’ve been to Tams Tupelo before, but this was an extremely disappointing visit. We we’re in town to visit our son and his friends before we leave the country for 5-6 years. There were 6 people in our party. We we’re looking forward to spending some quality time with some good food and service. That did not happen. They we’re not very busy. Our server was friendly, however he was not very attentive. We ordered drinks, waters and an appetizer. I accidentally spilt my drink on my son and myself after taking one sip. It took a long time for our server to come back to our table to help and bring some clean napkins. After that we didn’t see our server again for quite a while. Everyone was running out of water. I eventually had to get the hostess to find our server so we could get refills. Finally we got our food…sort of. After waiting all that time, my order was wrong. When everyone else at our table had finished eating I finally got my correct order. I asked to speak to the manager. He apologized but did nothing to comp my ticket. I will never go there again. I will spend my $200 somewhere that I will receive good service!

Cajun food that was really very good. The pimento cheese bruschetta was delicious and the smoked wings very good. We sat at the bar and had a great server who was attentive but not intrusive. The reclaimed bourbon Manhattan was very good and the margarita was also very good. We also had the gumbo which was good, not great, but good. By that time we were full but we will definitely be back to try some of the entrees, especially the jambalaya.

Are here with the family for Mother's Day. They don't take reservations, but we were able to call ahead and get a party of seven sat quickly and efficiently. The service was excellent and the ambience was also very nice, and our waitress was quick to take a drink orders and deliver them. I had a pretty fantastic Manhattan and as my meal, I had the jambalaya, which was delicious and a large portion. The food and service were excellent. My only complaint is that there is not abundant parking but we managed to find a spot.

Service was excellent! Menu choices were amazing and unique. Bleu cheese dressing was out of this world. Both entrees were outstanding. The bessalmon ever! Knocked off one star because it's very loud.

The restaurant decor was very nice. The food was excellent. My friend and I couldn't decide and both had the tupelo chicken. It was grilled chicken topped with fried green tomato and gouda cheese. Excellent choice. I had the grilled asparagus and she had the steamed broccoli and we shared an order of fries. All very good. Thank you for the excellent service as well.
