Food was good. The Staff seemed to be a bit confused getting our orders right. We were a table of 4 and 3 of the meals went to the wrong person. I believe they were training a new waitress. Other than that, the Lunch Menu offered great prices and meals.Parking: Accessible Parking

I'm biased because I live so close to this place, we often walk there.. but I love it...the staff is exceptional. Everyone is friendly and attentive. The food is great.Overall I'd say it's my favorite restaurant

The service was good and the atmosphere was fine, but it was the food that was just ok. The ground beef had an odd flavor; I ordered the taco salad. My husband said the same about his food. I really enjoyed their salsa, but the chips were overcooked.

Everything by was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious. My first plate that came out the ground beef was raw, but they remade it. Would go back again.

Been going to this restaurant for 7 years with several management changes. On 8/5/23 my husband and I visited the restaurant at approx 5:45pm. Adrian a new server was very kind to us. We ordered our usua beefl burrito with rice and beans for my husband and I ordered 3 flour soft tacos with grilled shrimp, tomato, avocado and grilled chicken. We also ordered small queso. For the past 4 years, including the past 2 weeks, our final bill was $21 and change. We usually leave a $7 dollar tip. Our bill came out to $43 and change! The menu always had a la carte tacos. I'd ask for shrimp which we knew cost a ittle more than the ground beef or grilled chicken or steak. My tacos were the size of street tacos...small. in the past I'd have to take one home because I couldn't finish all three. We spoke with the manager who had no name tag. He was rude and ignorant. He argued with us that because I asked for tomato and avocado on them it was more expensive and that they never had the shrimp taco meal. We have always paid $10.99 for my 3 larger shrimp tacos. Instead of $10.99 they charged us $22.45 for three tiny tacos. We told the manager we would pay but wouldn't step a foot back into the restaurant due to his ignorant rudeness. It didn't matter that we have been customers for 7 years. Whether or not we have been long time customers that manager didn't care. He said he didn't care if we came back or not. We have noticed that since he became manager, the restaurant is most definitely not busy like it used to be. Time to find another place to eat, somewhere patrons are treated right.

Good food but horrible service, and I told myself I wasn't going to even bother with putting a review up but it popped up wanting to know what my visit was like. I will never be returning to Fernandos to experience blatant racism ever again. I along with my two sons and sister, decided to eat here after my sons open house just last week. After being seated, we ordered drinks, appetizer and dinner. We received our appetizer and wasn't given any plates. It was extremely hot (which was a good thing) but we really needed plates to be able to properly eat it. I would've let that go but the thing that troubled me the most and ultimately made me decide to NEVER patronize this restaurant again was to literally watch the waitress bring out complimentary chips and salsa to a white family and she never brought any to our table at all. Had I never been to Fernandos it could've possibly not even mattered to me but my family and I have been there before and had never been treated like that. My waitress even tried to over charge me and thankfully I caught it and told her. My sister was very troubled and I really felt angered. Thankfully I love Jesus so I just said a prayer for that waitress but NEVER again will I be dining there.

The worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Cheese dip was made with velveeta and was half chunky and half runny. Grilled cheese was made with imitation mozzarella cheese. Children’s burrito was drenched in some disgusting sauce. Beans were made with powder. Taco Bell would’ve been 100 times better than this. If we could put negative stars we would. We should’ve walked out when we noticed how empty it was.

Meat was dry. Tortillas were hard when supposed to be soft. Salsa is from a can and when asked for a different one they said they didn’t have any other sauce. The chips were stale and seemed reused. Very limited selection of beer, only one on tap. The place was dead, it should have been my first sign to run out of there.

So good! Great variety of menu, and price. I like to judge a Mexican joint by how good there comp chips n salsa is (their's is good). The taco Tuesday deal (3 for $6, chx or beef, hard or soft) is one of the better ones in town, too. They DO NOT do the buffet on Tuesdays anymore.

We all use to come with entire family and friends and employees but today 5.3.23 is our last time. We stopped coming 2 months ago cause the guys were not happy but 9 of us gave it a second chance today and 7 out of 9 ask again not to come back. Sad.. we loved Fernandos but it's gone to shytt. Sorry won't be back. Bar is closed. Food was lightly RE WARMED back up. Chips bad. Food was not to par anymore. Good luck

We were going to try this new restaurant out but the experience did not start off well as we had to walk through a gauntlet of cigarette smoke coming from the outdoor patio.Place had 14 empty tables but we were told that they were full and not able to serve. I understand if they're understaffed. Just say that you're understaffed. When we walked in, the floor was slick and slippery, and my daughter fell and scraped her knee. The hosts saw it happen and did not even offer to help.Needless to say we didn't eat there and don't plan on going back anytime soon.

The food is fantastic! Best cheese steak in Gwinnett. Wings are great (regular size too). Obviously the Mexican food is off the chain.Oh yeah, get the steak fajitas!!Kid-friendliness: Kids are certainly welcome. Family atmosphere and bar... It works, trust me.Parking: I love enjoying myself in Gwinnett because of free parking.
