“First choice when we got to Dahlonega and it did not disappoint! Our server was friendly, helpful with the menu and attentive. The Fun Guy burger was a great mushroom-swiss offering with crispy tater tots. My wife enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich.Don't miss out on this great spot!“
“Stopped in for a late lunch and loved this place. I had a big bowl of Irish stew and a Dreamy pudding cup. Both were so good that I’ve lost the capacity to properly explain it. Would eat again. Will visit again.Very gluten/dairy free friendly.“
“Several members of my family gathered from different parts of Georgia and the reputation of the Foothill Grill drew us there. The food was excellent, the waitress was so organized, fast, patient, and cheerful you never would have known she was serving 10 people of all ages. She checked on us often and that made such an enormous difference in our visit. No stress, no mistakes, just family fun. The prices are great to top it all off. Such an amazing day today. Such an amazing memory for our family in such a pleasant atmosphere.Parking: It is a busy place but we all found a place to park.Kid-friendliness: Sweet babies ruining around their mama was a big plus. So cute and precious. I saw accommodations for children but we didn't require any.“
“Excellent and funny crowd!!! The Owners treat you with Respect!!! They are sooooo Nice. Excellent restaurant to sit down & eat or order pick up to eat when you get back home!!!! Diana TurnerParking: It's always crowded! That's why!!!!“
“I'm from New Orleans so we decided to give this place a try. We tried a variety of dishes. There was not one we didn't like. One thing I will say, the beignets are not like New Orleans ones. They're delicious but not like the real ones from New Orleans. We ate there for brunch. We will definitely be back for dinner.“
“Ultimate Comfort Fish! Food consistently delicious with wonderful options for those on low-carb diet (athletes, diabetics). Seafood selection predictable but good, with vegetable sides that are very well done - green beans, broccoli, slaw. Pleasant, sunny dining room.Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kids who think they don’t like vegetables. Maybe Captain D’s veggie side dishes will change their minds.“
“We came here during the Holidays and had ice cream here in the midst of wandering around downtown Dahlonega. The location is right off the square, you can see the main building from inside. The decor is old vintage feeling, which adds to the experience. There is some bar seating along with a handful of indoor tables. There was a short line that was not very organized when we were there. They gave samples and we ended up getting a couple of cones. They gave us cups for them as well to prevent a mess in case it spilled. You pay at the front after getting your ice cream and we sat indoors. The ice cream selection was good, but the ice cream itself was nothing special. The atmosphere more than makes up for this though.“
“We love our local Waffle House here in Dahlonega. Ms. Jessica is especially kind and accommodating. When we walked in tonight it wasn’t too busy and the crew was so friendly. They made my daughter a special waffle and gave her a paper hat to wear. The food was great too. Thanks Waffle House Dahlonega! We’ll be back soon!Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly“
“Excellent country club. Views of golf course and interior appointments wonderful for a relaxing lunch. Service good, young lady has a terrific personality. She tried hard to be in all places at once. Our family would definitely go back again and again as guests of a member.“
“Very small dining room because it is a part of a gas/convenience store. Appropriate decorations and theme and the smell is heavenly!DELICIOUS food and best barbque in Dahlonega/Dawsonville in my opinion. They considerately double bag liquid sauces and entries to prevent spillage in car. Will definitely return many more times-I highly recommend this restaurant!Parking: Because this place is part of a very busy gas station/convenience store, parking can be tricky and vehicles don't obey reasonable speed restrictions at times. They do have a small outdoor dining area.“
“Amazing place that has been around for decades. Pay up front and they bring out the food family style. The place sits on an old gold mine - you can get the history and look down the shaft. This is southern style food in an incredible setting. Don’t miss it!“
“I’m a big fan of fried green tomatoes, try them everywhere I go. This was fresh new spin on a classic! The grouper sandwich was served hot, the sauce on the sandwich was also delicious with just a little kick. We’d love to visit Yahoola again next time we’re passing through Dahlonega!“
“We were in Dahlonega for a bachelorette party and decided to eat at the Station on our last night. It was such a great choice! Overall, the vibe was relaxed and sporty. I wish it had been a little more crowded honestly, but it was a holiday weekend, so most of the students were likely visiting home. The environment is likely more fun on a regular weekend. Clara was our server and was incredibly friendly and attentive. Whenever we asked for extra sauces or needed a refill on our drinks, she was on it in no time. I got the spicy margarita, which wasn't super spicy, so I asked for extra jalapeños the second time which made it absolutely perfect. We got pretzel bites for appetizers, and these hit the spot. They came with honey mustard and queso and were perfect for sharing. For my meal, I ordered the shrimp tacos with a side of fries. The fries were very unique, and I wish more places sold them like this. The shrimp was beautifully marinated and went well with the cotija cheese. My friends all liked their meals as well - the chicken was juicy, and the lettuce in the salads was clearly very fresh with no wilted leaves. At the end of our meal, Clara had already split our check so we didn't even need to ask! Great food, drinks, and service - I'll recommend The Station to any of my friends visiting Dahlonega.“
“Me and my husband have been looking for a good hangout place. One that serves beer, good food and a good atmosphere- well I believe we found it! The food is freshly cooked when you order, and they have so many choices. Pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. They have an outside area, or inside area complete with a little arcade too. The servers are friendly and make you feel welcomed!“
“Everything was fantastic! The room was nice and the food is good. The only thing I can say it needs is a microwave in the room or at least somewhere on the property so you can heat your leftovers back up.Rooms: Beautiful, but need a microwave.Nearby activities: It's a short walk to almost everything.Safety: Dahlonega is a safe small town.Walkability: Almost everything is a short walk away.Food & drinks: The food is right on par with the Dillard House.“
“Best brussels sprouts I've ever had at any restaurant. I'm honestly trying to figure out whom to bribe for the recipe. We came in on a slow night (Sunday or Monday, can't remember) for a very late dinner and honestly everything was great. Food came out pretty quick and it tasted great. Service was good even though I thought it wouldn't be since we were one of only two tables and the servers were just hanging out. Our server was very attentive. My two kids loved the atmosphere.I'm kind of surprised to see some negative reviews because our experience was great. We'll definitely be back when in that area.“
“Recently attended a wedding here - gorgeous! All of the staff team was amazing. Wolf Mtn is family run and their care for people and their biz is obvious.*consider your shoe choice - gravel, hills, bridges, steps, staircases, wide plank decks - heels may not be your friend, a wedge would be better ;)“
