PERMANENTLY CLOSED as of 5/15/2022. We used to eat at this restaurant quite a bit, as it was right down the street from our house. It wasn't great Mexican food, but it was never awful. We always had good service when we went there. Kind of sad to see this one go since it was less than a minute from the house.

The Fajita Taco Salad is not what it used to be. No cheese dip and they put the refried beans on the bottom in the tortilla.

First time here at Anejo Grill. I had a really good time. Very clean, curtious staff! I had a very well made strawberry margarita actually 2!! I was feeling good. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were delicious!! This place needed help like a lot of businesses do but overall my waiter done pretty awesome to be doing different jobs in the restaurant all with a smile ? and still being curtious to everyone!! ?

Tried this place again.. really a negative 5And now NEVER again.. Server was HORRIBLE.. obviously didn't like her job.. Wrong drink..itty bitty cheese sauce $7.. we said no way.. Paid for our drinks and went to Outback.. really disappointed from what this place was when it opened because it is so close to our house..recommend DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Food is mediocre and they have horrible shows on the TVs with the place filled with children. My 3 year old watched a man be tortured covered in blood. It was on multiple TVs so there was no avoiding it.Also they are so slow. We waited forever to get our check.Won’t be returning.

BEWARE- BEWARE- BEWARE- BEWAREEvery weekend my two Sisters and I eat at a local restaurant that we have never tried. This week (7/31/21) we ate lunch at ANEJO GRILL (Mexican restaurant) in Cohutta/Varnel.Our order was 1 Coke, 1 Dr. Pepper, 1 Iced Tea to drink ($2.49 each) 1 Cheese dip ($4.99) to eat with our chips and salsa as we waited for 1-Combo #1, 1-Combo #4, ($9.99 each) and my meal 1 Bean Nachos ($10.96). I included a picture of the “Bean Nachos” pictured on on their menu that I ordered. Look closely at the menu and you’ll see that the “Bean Nachos” are $7.99. I was charged $10.96 and couldn’t even eat them!!!The waiter stated that he did not have the pictured “Bean Nachos” and he agreed to add black beans and green onions to my order of “Bean Nachos”. We then each ordered a corn on the cob but they did not have any corn.When my order arrived I stated to the waiter that my “Bean Nachos” did not have black beans, to which he replied “they’re in the bottom. I also informed him that I had no green onions either to which he replied “they’re on the bottom also” as he walked away.I dug through the “Bean Nachos” and only found runny refried beans, soggy nacho chips, lettuce, tomatoes, and some sour cream which I could not eat. I also included a picture of the “Bean Nachos” that I was actually served.When the check came I asked the waiter to delete the “bean nachos” from my bill as they were not what I ordered. He raised his voice and basically called me a liar and refused to delete them from my bill stating that he gave me what I ordered. My check total was $46.15. I only paid the full bill because the repercussion for not paying is to be arrested.If I could have given ANEJO GRILL MEXICAN RESTAURANT a negative number it would be -10!!I do not like to, and rarely ever leave bad reviews and this is the rudest I’ve ever been treated and the worst food I’ve ever sampled.We were the only 3 customers in the restaurant and it was lunchtime (noon-ish) on Saturday and now I know why!!!
Not bad, but the taste is your general run of the mill flavor that a lot of Mexican restaurants have.

There was a hair in my food. Which clearly wasn't mine. The waitress was miserable and didn't do her job. We were waiting on line to be seated and the waitress kept seating people who came after us. It was really bad experience. The quality of the food was nasty. I hope my daughter and all of us don't get sick. Horrible place.
