Wife and I had lunch here yesterday. The food tasted great! I had an asada taco and she had a fried shrimp capeado. The little girl that took our order and took care of us had a great job and personality. Food came out really quickly as well. Only had a few issues (hence the 4 stars versus 5). Prices were a bit high ($5.00 for a taco), no refills on any drink, was out of sweet tea and sprite, and have no discounts of any kind. Some of these can be overlooked due to the great service and food.

The food is very tasty, however the nachos are waaaay over priced. The portion sizes were way smaller than expected. My son got 2 tacos and I got a nacho. We were both still hungry. Dessert saved us from leaving hungry.The biggest reason I only gave 3 stars is the service. Our waitress was very busy “entertaining” the guys at the bar. She never came back to ask if I wanted another beer…despite an owner/ manager sitting right beside us.One thing they had on the menu a Mexican friend said I have to try is the Frozen Gansito with a Mexican Coke. My son and I each got one and split a Coke. That was fun.

Food wasn't as good as we expected, it's a very small portion of food what they serve, aguas frescas don't taste as what they are supposed to, they teste like just water with color. Their salsa it's not spicy and they give you just a tiny container with salsa, the water cup it's like 8 oz. Service wasn't as good neither, even when the owner "I think" came to asked us how was everything. But other than that they never came to see if we needed something, just to take our order and we waited to get the bill after a while we ended eating. There was no people, just us and maybe 2 other couples. I like the style of the place, but it's one of those restaurants that you try once and don't want to come back! They need to improve a lot. We thought it would be more like Mexican food but it's more like American "Mexican" food

The people and the place was good. The food though is 50/50. The queso is a personal preference thing. It was just too thick for our family. Chips were terrible. Flour chips in our opinion are bland and deserve to be in a trash can. The chicken and steak, however, was cooked great and was not dry. I would be happy to put that chicken with any other restaurant and eat there everyday. Our meal was $46 and it was just not worth that for some steak fries and one taco. Just beware of this price gauging mexican restaurant.

Decent food, nice atmosphere, and professional staff. The food was served quickly.One thing I didn’t care for was paying for a $3.00 Jarito. Don’t let that reflect on the establishment. I refuse to pay that much for soft drinks- made in the USA, China, or Mexico. With refills it’s another story.Parking: It’s downtown Dalton. Small town and few parking spaces. At least it’s free.Wheelchair accessibility: You have to find access to get on the sidewalk. However, once you’re on the sidewalks, a wheelchair could easily fit in the establishment. That was important when I used to take my dad out. Now I automatically pay attention to that.
