“Came in on Friday 16th. Food was great. Service was a little disappointing. Sat down and waited for waitress. And waited. And waited a little more. When she got to us, she took out drink order. Then we waited, she was very busy talking to the other waitress about something. Then she came back with one drink and asked what I had order again.....??? Just not very attentive!“

“Johnny's New York Style Pizza is a culinary treasure. Their MEDITERRANEAN SALAD was incredible! We tried their Turkey sub today and loved it too...both were fresh and flavorful. Since we were new we decided to try a bunch of things and let me just say, the garlic knots and Buffalo Chicken Dip appetizer stole the show. The dip was creamy and spicy, and paired well with their crispy flat bread chips. This is a must-try if you're a spicy buffalo chicken fan. Their pizza of course was amazing but honestly we were so full from all of the other items we could only eat one slice each. Mmmmm, it was very tasty and we will have leftovers for the weekend. Thanks you guys! We will be back.“

Montaluce Winery & Restaurant Italian • $$$
501 Hightower Church Rd, Dahlonega - 10.33 miles

“We've photographed a LOT of weddings at Montaluce Winery and have some insider tips to share with couples interested in getting married there! Here are a few things you should know if you're considering a wedding at Montaluce Winery:1) There are quite a few different ceremony options from the vineyard overlook to the terrace and even the barrel room. Look at photos of each ceremony site to get an idea of what a ceremony there looks like. If choosing the barrel room, be sure to hire a photographer who has shot there before as it can be dark if not lit properly.2) Sunset at Montaluce is not to be missed! Plan your day to catch sunset for your newlywed photos. Your photographer should help you planning a timeline for the best lighting, but be sure to plan your ceremony about 1.5-2 hours prior to sunset and leave sunset and blue hour for your portraits for the best photos.3) It's definitely worth it to rent the nearby villas for getting ready! We personally love Villa De Luna and Villa De Sol, they are right next to each other and about a 5 min drive from the venue. There are getting ready spaces at Montaluce but it's recommended to get hair and makeup done elsewhere before traveling to the venue as the spaces aren't very large and don't natural light for photos.Hope this helps! As wedding photographers we absolutely love shooting at Montaluce- it's definitely a good venue choice if you want stunning photos!“

“This place was recommended to us by our hotel - it was just as good as advertised. I went with check stuffed with prosciutto and covered with a creamy marsala mushroom sauce - it was amazing. The amount of food was generous, so we didn’t get to dessert, which is a shame.“
