I went by today, and the building is completed boarded up. My co-worker and I just went there to pick up food on 8/15/2023 ( 2 weeks ago). I have supported them for years. I hope they reopen at some point. I'm only giving 3 starts because there was not communication that they were shutting down. I have never had any issues with my food. I always order jerk chicken.

This is the best Jamaican food I've ever taste. I have tried others and was disappointedParking: Parking is right in front of the door.

Must have a new cook . Food isn’t the same anymore. Oily, too spicy, not fresh , hardly any peas in rice . The last few times the food wasn’t good . I just have to find me a new Jamaican restaurant. Had been going there for years . But I drive to far 40 minutes away to be getting old , nasty and not good consistent food . Not worth it. I even overlooked the way it looks on the outside damages but not worth itVegetarian options: N/A

I ordered the red peas soup yesterday and it was like red water with peas they must have a new cook, as it wasn’t the way that it’s been the past. The front has been damaged by what looks like a car running into it for quite some time. I used to live coming here but the quality has surely changed.Definitely have been a loyal customer for decades and have seen the changes

A few weeks ago went and purchased our routine red peas soup! Usually excellent.. not sure if it a new cook but it was brownish/red water no meat and literally no seasoning just water. I looked past it as maybe a one time error, went back today for the regular Curry Goat- Lawddd the rice and peas tasted old and smelled rancid, the curry goat was not seasoned just spicy- very bland and the plantains were spoiled and you can smell it. Not to mention it was literally a handful if that of meat. It looked as though there was a good amount of serving but when I picked up the first piece underneath was all rice.. wasted money and the food seems to be going downhill! Maybe they truly are just concentrating on moving but $40+ in food for curry chicken and goat plates to be this spoiled and meat not seasoned is unacceptable! Your usual patron very disappointed and dissatisfied‼️

I had been living in the area for two years and did not even stop by every time I saw the place because it looked abandoned due to the giant hole that it looks like a car bashed in the front.Bland cabbage, no working bathroom. 2 course veggie plate for $11?Music blasting in the middle of the day like it's a sound system at a dance . Mi nah kum baak.

For the last 30 years I've been coming to this restaurant and the Last time I visited was last year, well I ordered three plates. 2 Chicken & 1 oxtail. When I got home I immediately noticed the dramatic change in the food . First , it tasted like they poured a box of sugar in the rice and the once savory meat and gravy tasted a bit hard and stale. I don't know what had happened to this once great restaurant but I'm disappointed that my once favorite place is no more .

Amazing food! Try the snapper and the curry goat. Remember to put some oxtail gravy on your rice! If you order don’t come when they say, add about 10-15 minutes, then show up.

I used to eat here at least once a month when I lived in Dekalb county. I used to look forward to going. They must have changed owners and/or cooks. I went there on Sunday. The food was not the same. I was very disappointed about spending $50+ and I couldn’t even eat the food! The rice and peas had no peas. The j*** chicken was not seasoned…just spicy and the rice could have at least had some salt since they didn’t no peas! Let’s just say I will be cooking my own until I can find me another restaurant. I used to refer people to this restaurant…NEVER again.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since 2004. I used to work next door and see the owner frequently. Unfortunately, like most black businesses, it’s been destroyed by the new circus world we live in. This was a family business at one time. I think the owners kids have grown up and moved on with their lives. Unfortunately, he has to higher anyone who will work. My orders have been wrong consistently. They won’t tell you if they’re out of anything, they just will bring you your food with missing parts of the order. I’m not upset because I understand the world is trash now so why shouldn’t their restaurant be any different.

I’m not gonna hold you. This is the ONE! Listen to me…as a Caribbean man with a West Indian palate, THIS IS THE ONE!! This is THE best Jamaican food in the entire STATE OF GEORGIA. I’ve had them all folks, every place these folks are giving reviews, I’ve tried them. I was there when Chef Robs first left Justin’s and opened Chef Robs okay…I know my food. THIS IS THE ONE! The best oxtails. The best curry goat, the best curry chicken, the best stew chicken, the best soups, the best ackee and saltfish. Period! Here’s the CON though…..They might be out of some stuff ???‍♂️ close the place when they want ??‍♂️ have a hole in the front of the building…??‍♂️ Or just not come to the counter at all ??‍♂️. I have a love hate with this place. But it’s the best dam “Authentic” Jamaican food I’ve had in my life.

I travel down here an hour and always have to stop and grab some oxtails. My orders are always pretty quick. Staff is friendly ☺️. Hands down best oxtails I've tasted since being down here in GA. I highly recommend this place.

The food was good, the j*** chicken was a tad bit HOT. Last three times I been, no plantains. Service is always slow, the greeter was nice.
