Prices have gone up; food and service have gone down!I ordered a Large Curry Chicken Dinner. The 1½ pieces of plantain was very dry like leather. The chicken tasted good, however, I was given pieces of the back, and broken pieces of thighs. I had more bones then I had meat! Now, that was the worst ever!

Its been awhile since I've ordered food here. The service was great, however, I was totally disappointed with the food. My first visit here, the food was delicious. Like all other eateries, prices have gone up and that wasn't a problem. The quality of the food was not good. The fried dumplings were not fresh and hard. Everything else was way too salty. As a result of all that salt, I ended up throwing it away. Not healthy to eat. My suggestion is let people add their own salt because it can ruin a meal.

Food was delicious, first time going was today. Best stew chicken I’d had in a minute! Awesome flavor! I was surprised the lunch special was $10 because online google had it cheaper but of course prices everywhere are rising unfortunately but they did fill my plate to the top so it was worth it. The plantain was perfect, hate when places have it overcooked and flavorless and the cabbage was bomb as well! Friendly employees, I will definitely be back to try other dishes. Not too sure about the fried chicken, but someone was picking up steamed fish as I was leaving so I will probably try that next!

Came here several times before for chicken soup. I always get the large which is $14.00 including tax. The last time that I was here the soup was all broth and veggies no meat. Today when I came. I asked if she could please make sure I received chicken in my soup. I ordered chicken soup. I opened the soup and fished for the meat and there was a very small piece of chicken and two chicken foot. Wasn’t happy. Asked for refund. The older woman was nice, but the teenager was rude about it. And tries to argue with me. I will not return. I understand food is high, but you can’t charges $14 for a cup of soup with no meat. No Thank You! ??✨

I recently tried Aunty Vanny Fishpot, and their authentic Jamaican food exceeded expectations. The fry dumplings were particularly impressive, perfectly capturing the essence of delicious Jamaican cuisine. Highly recommended!

Food is horrible especially her fried chicken, tastes like it was soaked in drum water. Curry is stale as if warmed up from overnight and owner is rude and obnoxious and treats workers like her personal slaves. Overheard her refusing to pay one of her workers who quit recently her money owed to her. Will not be going here in the future and will never recommend. One thing I know, any business surrounded by dishonesty will never prosper.

I have been eating at Aunty Vannie's for many years and can never grow tired of a few favorite dishes. Breakfast is a great starting point. Highly recommend the ackee and saltfish with provisions, or the porridge is another good choice. The jerk chicken always hits the mark in terms of the taste being consistent, THE BEST! That thing is good on its own and patrons will wait patiently for it to come off the grill. I've had it a few ways, as a meal, with breadfruit or on its own. You can't go wrong either way. I cannot find a word to describe how good the fish options are. They use fresh ingredients and seasoned to perfection. The steamed snapper is a favorite as well as the escovitch with bammy if available. Most of the traffic comes and goes or dine in. Overall, the food is good, you can sit and eat in peace and in the event there were any discrepancies, a swift resolution was offered. Will definitely continue to patronize this establishment.

Alright. I didn’t want to do this initially, but now, they’ve earned their one and only one star. This establishment is not a good reflection on the Jamaican culture and cuisine at all. We tried just about all of their foods after not really liking that the breakfast we ordered was swimming in a pool of oil. Saltfish and ackee with boiled bananas and dumplings. TOO MUCH OIL!! We got heartburn after. We also had to wait until we got home to eat it because it was FLAVORLESS! No seasoning. Another time, we got the oxtail with rice and peas. We noticed the rice and please were dry looking so we asked for gravy over the rice. NO FLAVOR! We also tried the porridge. LUMPY! It might look good, but there is no taste. There is no music, no tv, no greeting or anything when you go into that place, just a weird dampened vibe. I don’t like it. All of this is not worth the price. You might not want to waste your hard earned dollars here. We can luckily cook these foods on our own at home as it is what we grew with. They need much improvement!
