We had a lovely lunch at Cafe Lily. We ordered three different sandwiches, and all were excellent. Loved the tomato basil soup. They were not serving bread pudding but that just gives us a reason to go back.

We were seated too close to the entrance. It became quite crowded with guests waiting to be seated. People were standing very close to us. It's not a very comfortable feeling.
We mentioned we were celebrating a birthday when we made our OpenTable reservation for seven people. When we arrived, we found we have been given a small private room off of the main dining room, and it was perfect! Fatima, our server, was wonderful! She took very good care of us, and gave us guidance about our menu choices. All in all, a lovely celebration with excellent food and service and atmosphere.

Server was nonchalant and aloof. Coffee took 10 minutes to arrive. 2 cocktails took a reminder and another 10 minutes. Her overall demeanor was condescending and fake. To add insult to injury - the 20% gratuity was added automatically- for 3 adults and 2 kids. We won't be back.

The restaurant staff were attentive, accommodating and very pleasant. It was an enjoyable experience all around. A very intimate restaurant with fabulous food. A great place to take a date or the family. They even have a beautiful private room called the Peacock room. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is one of our favorites.

Cafe Lily has the one of the best combinations of food quality, variety, service, and value in the Atlanta Metro area. I'd say it is the most flavorful Mediterranean restaurant in the area as far as taste. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

It was crowded compared to other times. I come to Lily's a lot. The server didn't mention the specials and our meal took forever to arrive. The food was great and I love that they offer gluten free options

The atmosphere was like a homey old neighborhood restaurant. It was warm and welcoming with a beautiful antique podium. There was three of us and all our food was well prepared and very good. Drinks and wine were also good. Service (Fatima) was attentive without being too much. Wonderful experience and I can't wait to go back

Overall the food was good. I got the lab gyro sandwich. Real lab, but unseasoned. I tasted the shrimp and grits which were the best part of my meal that I did not order. I will definitely order the shrimp and grits next time.

We dine fairly regularly at Café Lily, and always enjoy the experience. Last weekend we went on a busy Saturday night with reservations. We are slightly disappointed that the service was slower than usual, it took a while for our server to get to the table. She did check on us regularly, but had a sense of rushing about her. That's not the usual a café Lily. Everyone enjoyed their food. I did have the goat cheese ravioli, and found that the cheese inside was not hot. I haven't experienced that before. The scallop risotto was delicious and our guest enjoyed their dishes as well. Perhaps it was just a Saturday night rush or maybe they were a server short that night. We always go back to Café Lily. The wine selection is great and the advice from the servers about wine is spot on. One of our favorite places to go.

They did not acknowledge my birthday and sat us by 2 large parties while the rest of the restaurant was empty. The hostess needs more training. The food was not as good as it has been in the past. It was a disappointing birthday dinner.

I made an on-line reservation at Cafe Lily at 7:30 for 8:15 for one person. I walked in the door and up to the hostess and she greeted me with a big smile and said “You must be Ann!” I felt great. It's hard eating solo in a restaurant and the previous night had not gone so well, so this was welcome was so appreciated! My waiter was KB and he was very attentive and friendly and helpful. I wanted a non-alcoholic drink and he didn't have either of the two I was interested in. He suggested I try another option, and I did and didn't like it. He was so gracious about taking it away and off my bill. He forgot to bring me bread and I asked for it after ny entree arrived, and he brought it then and gave me extra when I left after dinner. All smiles and kindness. The food was very good. Pasta fresh and wonderful. Warm brownie with very creamy ice cream for dessert. I was tempted by the Bread Pudding which sounded excellent, but that will be for the next time I come visit. I live in NC, and it will be a while before I visit Atlanta again. But when I do, I will go back to Cafe Lily. And I hope the same people are there. This place has a lovely, welcoming, playful ambience.
