Me and my family used to come here a lot! My sister even worked here for a minute! My dad and I would always get the jerk pork! I live in Dacula now but I was passing by the area and stopped because I haven’t had it in years! The food tasted great, but the customer service today was horrible! I don’t know who the lightskinned older chick is but they need to replace her! She was arguing with everyone! The first guy argued that she didn’t give him extra gravy and she stated that he didn’t ask for it! The lobby was pack and we all heard him order extra curry gravy! They went back and forward for a minute. I finally got my food and realized that I didn’t have my oxtail gravy on my rice! She stated you didn’t ask for it! And everyone in the lobby started laughing because they heard me ask for it! Even on my receipt it said xtra gravy! She stated it say extra gravy not oxtail! Ma’am you rung it up! I have no control over that and I don’t have any extra gravy in the bag! My mother was on the phone with me and heard me say oxtail gravy also! I told her that she’s the problem! Everyone isn’t lying on her! She’s not ringing up the food properly and calling everyone a liar! She stated I never said that and she knows it! I will never come back here! I will never spend my money where they can’t take accountability in their mistakes!

Been going here for years and the taste of the food and the service has always been the same I drive 3 hours to get there food one of the things I miss about Decatur is Boston jerk but when I’m in town I stop I hate there not open on Sunday any more I would normally stop and bring food

They have a couple things they could do to raise this to 5 stars.You can easily see this place from the street and it is a stand alone building that sticks out. The parking lot is half paved.I came in and both menu signs were out. The menus are on two TVs. They did not have any printed menus. Good thing I already knew what I wanted. I ordered the Large Oxtails with yellow rice. They charged 4% for using a credit card.They did not have a bathroom for customers. I got my food and the oxtails were cold. The rice and cabbage were warm but the oxtails were cold with warm gravy. So disappointing. The flavor was good but I expected more of a kick.

I first noticed this establishment back in my teenage years ( Early 90's).. I didn't know much about Jamaican Cuisine back then however I always said I was going to try it. Low and behold after getting married in 1996 my wife and I traveled to Ocho Rios and stayed in a lovely and fabulous resort for 2 weeks and we got a chance to climb Dunn's River Falls while we there.Needless to say I couldn't wait to get back and go to the building on Covington Highway that I had been wanting to go to for years..now it all made sense.I could connect the dots.. Love ❤️ this place and always will they have a special place in our hearts ?. One of the funniest things I remember the father telling me at least 20 years ago when I ordered the Jerk Wings he said and I quote"( THEIR SPICY MON) .(man)

This is the best Jamaican restaurant in the Atlanta area! You cannot go wrong with their wood smoked jerk chicken, you'll want to order some extra jerk sauce to go with it. The oxtails and curry goat are incredible too. I'm Jamaican and I know good food, so take it from me when I say that this is the only place in Atlanta to get the very best Jamaican food around, just like they make it back home. Try them out, you'll love it!
