Cool establishment. Service is kinda slow. I also wish the yellow tail was sliced a bit thinner. Overall decent food.

Fresh Sashimi Combo B was presented in a fancy boat, well worth $35, especially if you are sharing in a small group. Chirashi Don was generously and wonderfully prepared too. Chicken Katsu Curry Don was as authentic and crispy as it is appreciated with its generous proportion. Staff was courteous despite us dinning at odd hours on a Sunday afternoon. They seem to offer some Taiwanese bubble tea as well, which we didn't have a chance to try but would love to if we come back around that area of the greater Atlanta area again.

Ordered the Volcano Ramen and Takoyaki. The Takoyaki was great, while it’s hard to mess up Takoyaki, these were just like I like them, hot, crispy exterior, gooey interior, and with dancing Benito flakes. The ramen broth was bold and creamy, the noodles were the perfect al dente, the egg was perfect with a barely runny yoke. Only complaint was the pork was Very thin; also the menu claimed it was ?️?️?️, but I had to add a good heap of chili oil to get some heat. Overall, best ramen I’ve had in a while. Will definitely be back!

Everything was great except for the food. My party of 5 and myself we’re super disappointed with the quality of the food. The staff was very pleasant and polite. The chirashi don came out about 20 mins after everyone got their food and the fish was old. Super disappointing with a dish that supposed to serve fresh raw fish and rice. The rice was soggy and wet with some liquid. The unagi don was mostly onions. The pork in the charsui pork ramen was old. The chicken katsu curry didnt taste good. Just expected more…

Hiro was MY HERO - when we left an event starving and in desperate need of sustenance. It was close to closing time but we were seated and we placed our orders quickly. We started with some bubble tea - the Thai Milk Tea - a little sweet but satisfied my craving. Next, we ordered some apps - the green bean fries and chicken Karaage really hit the spot. And even though Hiro is a ramen bar, we both ordered rice bowls. We tried the beef sukiyaki and the chashu pork which were fully loaded with meat, rice and other toppings. I found the toppings to be a bit atypical for Japanese rice bowls, like the corn and green beans, especially since they were flavorless... but they did lend some color to the bowls. Overall, I'll have to try their ramen sometime if I'm craving it while in the area, but while I found their food to hit the spot, I wouldn't go out of my way for it, either.

We ate there when I visited family. Not a good experience. My wife and I both order beef ramen and pork ramen respectively. They both presented well, however they both tasted like burnt bacon grease, perhaps from the oil they used on the skillet to cook the proteins. It was a horrible lingering taste making us eat primarily just the rice and broth and left us with this greasy sick feeling in our throats until we could find a mint candy at a drug store. Service was poor, the two dishes came to us over ten minutes apart, I had to ask twice for a fork and napkins. The whole staff seemed lost.

Dear Chef: You Got To Change This! THE PROBLEM: All of the entrees have very thinly sliced beef, chicken, pork, whatever, over rice, scant vegetable and some broth. Meats were most likely cooked on a hot flat plate, but they “all” had a taste like foul bacon grease. That horrible taste stayed in our throats and stomach which made us end up eating mostly only the rice and feeling like I needed mouthwash asap. I know you can do better.

The broth is the most important part of ramen and I can say that the shoyu ramen was very good and flavorful. I would have enjoyed a bit more. The char siu was flavorful along with the seasoned egg. Very happy with this quick stop on a chilly evening.

They are under new management and the menu online has not been updated. Quite frankly the check out clerk was rude about it. Customer service was not arrayed. I order the veggie ramen with tofu on the side. It was literally 2 small cubes of tofu that wasn't seasoned at all the quality of the broth wad not desired or seasoned. I've made better ramen at home. Needless to say I'll skipp this location in the future. Very disappointing.

Decent option for ramen ITP but not metro Atlanta's best. Good but some little things keep it from being great. We were seated promptly for dinner. Very clean restaurant. The music coming out of the speaker above our back corner table was intermittently garbled and staticky which was a little distracting.Went with the chicken shoyu ramen for both of us and a side of takoyaki. Decent portion size. The ramen broth was light and flavorful. Noodles were a nice texture, slight bite. A few marks against this bowl - the soy egg was SO SALTY, and I wish they had grilled the chicken chashu for better flavor and texture. The Hiro milk tea and honey dew smoothie we got for dessert were decent.A little more attention to detail could really elevate this place. Wouldn't go out of our way to come here but would consider stopping by next we're in the area.Parking: Very small parking lot, can be difficult to find a spot during peak hours.
