The food was REALLY good. My family is vegan so I got the curry chickpeas and peas and rice. It was a large enough portion for me and my kids and we definitely enjoyed it. We’ll be back!!

Vegetarian options: This is the best Jamaican food ever! I’m from NY and this is authentic Jamaican food. I ordered brown stew fish, rice/peas, cabbage, okra, and bammy. We called in and placed the order because the fish is made fresh. It was so good, I was licking my fingers? I couldn’t help it. The chef came to table to introduce himself, he was awesome! He heard me saying, “who’s the chef!” This is the only restaurant I’m going to when I come to Decatur❤️
I want to start off by saying that the food was really good. However, my issue with this restaurant is the inconsistent prices. When looking online, I saw that the price for curry chicken was $10. I arrive to the restaurant to see that they increased the price to $12. Then, when I go to pay, the actual price is $13, add tax, and ended up paying $14 for a meal I was made to believe would cost around $10. Not to mention, the portion sizes are very small compared to other Jamaican restaurants I’ve been to and plantain doesn’t come with your meal. You won’t be disappointed with the food, but they really need to update their prices so people know what they’re paying upfront. I also don’t think the amount you get is worth the price.
Ordered on Uber eats, the food was good but I didn’t get any plantain or cabbageMi vex!

Never quite had a meal that was so delicious from start to finish. The rice & peas was perfectly made, and the curry chicken brought back memories of being back home.
