The young lady who served me had the BEST customer service! She was very polite and the food came out fast. As far as the food, my fish was flavorless, had absolutely no seasoning on it. It was also very greasy along with the hush puppies. The tartar sauce that I was hoping would give it flavor tasted like pure mayonnaise. This place has lots of potential but must add seasoning to make it not only good but supreme.

We need to do better in certain neighborhoods that serve fast food. The fish was either old or over cooked probably both. The atmosphere is desperately in need of an overhaul. The service was friendly but the gentleman didn't have a chance with all that was against him.

It always hurts when I have to leave a poor review, especially to a Black owned business but this has been earned. The catfish was mushy and clearly frozen and cooked at too low of temperature and not long enough. It severely lacked corn meal and/or seasoning. The bathroom was disgusting, the place is dated at least 30 years, and the service was minimal at best. To put it bluntly, This place shouldn't be open for business.

I just ordered a fish salad and the cheese was molded ?
A very friendly young man took my order. What I actually wanted from the menu was not available. (That's one of my pet peeves.) My order didn't take too long to prepare. I got whiting fillets. Those were some of the skimpiest whitings I'd ever eaten! The tables are nicely shellacked and clean. There was a noticeable buildup of grime on the floors and the condiment containers. (Another pet peeve!) I'm not sure I will ever go back. Too bad, the service was really good!

Looked on website hours say close time 930 I get there at 8 and some girl seen me at counter didn't open her mouth then sum oldr man come around an say they close. Smh can't support them anymore.

I got sick aft the catfish the French fries was soaked in grease seem to have different people there....a few years ago I would eat here two to three times a week not anymore

Man I miss the old days. I'm not sure if the Muslim family still owns it but I doubt it. The fish from here used to be so good!! Not anymore. I ordered the 2 piece whiting and fries. I felt like they cut one piece of whiting in half for my "two" pieces. They were really small. Well...goodbye old friend...
