Absolutely one of the worst bistro/starbucks!Don't understand why Starbucks continues to use their branding on this place. 10/31/23 I waited in line for 10 minutes with no service. The woman working didn't even acknowledge me at the counter. No, hello, I'll be right with you. NOTHING!. Just stood there talking with another coworker. Others in front of me waited 10 minutes or more for coffee. I've been staying in this hotel off and on for two years al and it's been the same song and dance. Save your time and sanity and go to a real Starbucks. This place should be closed.

Had to stay here for an extended period due to family member being in the hospital (hint, ask the desk for the hospital rate if that’s why you’re there, it may be a better rate than the one you can get online—not always though). Only one of us would come shower/nap while the other was at the hospital so didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but when there, the bed was comfortable and the lights were good. Has a fridge which is helpful. Since it’s too hot to run outside in Atlanta, the gym was nice to have as a back up. It had weights, cardio and a machine. The room was quiet. Parking is in an underground garage attached to the hotel. Be aware of the spaces, they are narrow and have pillars that make navigation challenging. Someone hit my rental car in the lot and didn’t leave their information. Parking is $10/d. Lots of food within walking distance. Only 2.5mi from Emory Hospital. Thankful to Quentin who was helpful as we had to keep extending our stay.

My family held a family reunion at this Courtyard hotel July 7-9. The hotel staff and event service were incredibly awesome! First, the hotel itself is in an excellent location for visitors to the Atlanta area, because the hotel is in the heart of Decatur with plenty of walkability to shops and restaurants. Next, the hotel is very nicely appointed with a great lobby with bar for mixing and mingling and excellent conference facilities. The rooms also were very nice with refrigerators and microwaves. The thing that sets this hotel in the awesome category is the great staff! Patrick and all of the event staff were just wonderful to work with! They made us feel so welcome, and always went above and beyond to provide the best event possible. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning an event in the Atlanta area. From check-in to check-out, the bar, the event space, all of it was great! Kudos to the manager of the property and the event manager for running a great hotel property.

Although this is a small lobby restaurant in the Marriott, don't look past their signature Cherry Old Fashioned - wow! A class A cocktail and a wonderful bartender who made them just right ! Ordered Chimichurri steak and there seems to be a difference of opinion on medium rare (mine was bright red even after sending back) but the service (by same named awesome bartender ) was wonderful and truly made our experience the best - i only wish I would have asked her name for this review ! Within all the small restaurants and hotels in this area, we were pleasantly surprised ! We had a great time.

I stayed here for 3 weeks for work, the staff is outstanding, Marcus in engineering, Tommy the Chef at the Bistro, (ask him to make a grill cheese) the Bistro staff, Evander, Jimmy, Lomita. The manager Brian runs a great hotel. The place looks new, but they are actually about to do a makeover. Restaurant in lobby excellent, and 5 minute walk to 20+ restaurants, Farm Burger and Chai Pani Indian is unbelievable.

Rooms are nice and spacious. Very standard courtyard rooms. Nice lobby plenty of spots to meet in groups, nice breakfast area, no free breakfast, assuming paid parking or at least difficult parking. No particular area for campers or larger vehicles that I can see. Centrally located to tons of various businesses and restaurants. You shouldn't lack finding something to do.

The interior facing design is bizarre. The windows face the lobby, why would I want that? Felt like I was in a casino in the worst way. Hated not getting any sunlight. So loud I couldn’t sleep. Every noise echos. Sticky floor and not super clean rooms. I tried putting the fan on the air conditioner on to block out the noise but it only lets you do auto which clicks on and off all night which also keeps you up. They disabled letting you just keep it on. Great location at least but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the noise.

I stayed here for one night while visiting a friend. I was so disappointed with my stay! The room was dirty - hair and dirt in the sink and shower, a piece of dirt on the bed, and debris on the floor in the bedroom and bathroom. Worst of all, the toilet was clogged. I know this would have been fixed if I notified the front desk, but I didn’t know it was broken until 12:30 AM and as a solo female traveler, I didn’t feel comfortable having someone come fix it then. It was also definitely clogged before I got there. This was super stressful and inconvenient. I had an outward facing room (not facing the courtyard/lobby) but the hallway was still relatively noisy up until I fell asleep sometime after 2:00 AM. The pros: location, nice lobby, and the front desk woman who checked me in. I’ve stayed at many Marriott locations and this one was very disappointing. I thought I might come back here next month for another event but I’ll be finding something else.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. She asked what brought me to town and my response was that I had an appointment at Emory, I was given a good discount. She informed me parking was $10.00 a night then noticed I was driving a full size pickup. She said it was too wide to fit in the parking garage and had me pull around to the back where she met me and showed me where l could park for the night. Room was very nice and quiet. There is no complimentary breakfast, you must pay for it. Other than the parking fee and lack of complimentary breakfast, I would have rated it Excellent.

Was in town for wknd to attend a wedding for HS friend of our daughter. We are Marriot loyalist with wife being Rewards/Bonvoy for 35 years. This location was close to church/reception, so it worked for us. Now with all the challenges in hotel industry since Covid, we expected worse, but this hotel is still hummimg along. Maid service on every floor, one or two at front desk all the time.. rooms were clean, fresh towels aplenty (especially when in ATL in August), took alot of showers, and the pool was spotless. Shout out to James Williams and his front desk crew for working our bill as we used Bonvoy Rewards certs to pay for our stay..Now the really fun part, forget world of Coke, or 6 flags over ATL, Kids go watch mom/dad try to park their huge SUV/truck in the parking garage the hotel uses. Spots created for Smart cars/Prius, it's a demolition derby waiting to happen. We had sedan, but it's entertaining will put any Disney ride to shame. The most fun you will have for $10.

This hotel is in a great location. Lots of good restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance and a quick drive into East Atlanta. Pool was clean, gym was clean and staff was responsive. The only complaint is WIFI was not very good and $10/day for parking.

This hotel is awful. There are prisons in third world countries with better Wifi. It's essentially unworkable. But worse than that is having a room facing the lobby/atrium. If you do, you will not get a wink of sleep. People are screaming, yelling, and partying in the lobby until the wee hours. Front desk staff ignore it as though they're unaware that HALF THE ROOMS IN THE HOTEL are hearing this noise. The last night of my stay (a Thursday) there was a CHILD'S BIRTHDAY PARTY in the lobby with dozens of screaming and running children until 11pm. When I called the front desk to ask if they could please control the noise they seemed SURPRISED that someone would call to complain. I've stayed here for years and it's ALWAYS LIKE THIS. So obviously they don't care. If you get a room that faces to the street you are ok but if you get a room facing in-- you will not be able to sleep. If I had ANY CHOICE I would stay anywhere else. Unfortunately I come every year for a conference and have to stay here, but it's painful and you should spare yourself if you can.
