I would like to leave an enthusiastic shout out to Eric, Kristin and Kelsey at The Dinner Shoppe for their Thanksgiving menu this past week. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and well prepared with easy-to-follow instructions. The portion sizes did not disappoint. Thank you for making meal prep stress free.

I took my family to the restaurant based on their website, and they didn’t disappoint. The service from Crystal was impeccable and atmosphere on the porch was mild and happy. But the biggest thing was the food. Grandson Oliver had the cheesesteak with vegetables. He consumed all of it. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich and daughter Kat had spicy fried cauliflower and had to share with the table. She also had the vegetable wrap with sweet potato fries. We all loved the food. Thank you to the restaurant for making a great time for us.Cindy DemmeOops - although I can hardly wait to go to the dinner shop, this review was meant for the Grove Park Restaurant and Tavern. I am so sorry -I had the Dinner Shoppes website up not realizing I had already moved to it. I don’t know how to correct it.My deepest apologies - I cannot wait to make my first order.

Today was my first experience at The Dinner Shoppe, as I picked up my online order for 3 casseroles. My family had the Shepherd's Pie and it was DELICIOUS!!!Looking forward to eating the other 2 casseroles! I'm planning on making this a weekly plan for family dinners. So convenient and affordable!

I became acquainted with the Dinner Shoppe when my sister ordered me some frozen casserole meals delivered after baby number 3 arrived in 2020 since she couldn’t visit during the pandemic. It has been love ever since. I’ve used Carol’s services to send meals many a time and I’ve also recently started ordering her meal prep monthly packages. My family will think it’s just a new recipe I tried and every time they tell me how good dinner was. That’s when I tell them Carol’s recipe was a hit again! We have tried the shrimp po boys (this made me feel like a New Orleans chef), chicken burrito bowls in the slow cooker, various casseroles.. I especially love the sunrise breakfast casserole. She has a variety every month and a range of cuisine types to fit any budget or taste. I love it because it is helping to switch up and try new recipes with all the legwork of deciding what to cook and grocery shopping taken out of the equation. Not to mention, Carol is just a lovely person and goes above and beyond to tailor the prep of the meal to your liking or needs. Thank you, Carol! Just placed my August order!

The people giving five star reviews probably should get tested for COVID. I'm afraid they've lost their sense of smell and taste. We also got the chicken pot pie and I agree with the other reviewer - its good for someone recovering from surgery. We were regrettably given a gift certificate for The Dinner Shoppe and everything we have tried has either been bland and completely lacking flavor or completely inedible (the turkey meatload). They seem to feel that quantity makes up for quality. Not even considering that the ordering process is complicated and other meal delivery services send ready to eat meals... not frozen chickens and dried pasta. I wish we could get a refund on the remainder of the gift card - everything we have tried basically ends up in the garbage.
My first visit to this business was on June 1, 2022 and, overall, I am very favorably impressed with the variety and quality of meals available and the service. I purchased four single dinners, all frozen, and ate them over a two week period. The first one consumed, the shrimp, was so good that I ate all of it at once. I controlled myself better with the others and made two meals of each. I thought a pasta dish was pretty good and the Shepherd's Pie was excellent, but I did not care for the Eggs Florentine, both from personal taste and from a deficiency of salt and pepper. I look forward to returning to the shop.

A Friend of ours gave us a group of meals and we’ve tried all the other prepared meals which I would say The Dinner SHOPPE for exceeds in quality and convenience. I love the spices and the special sauces that come with the different types of meals. This has become our favorite type of prepared and easy to prep and it’s good to have a few on hand just in case you don’t feel like cooking. I would highly recommend trying The Dinner Shoppe.?

I always keep some of Carol's meals in the freezer for days I am not inspired to cook. She provides all of the ingredients for a complete meal including the sides along with instructions on how to cook it. Her recipes are delicious. I especially love the casseroles. I take her chicken pot pie to friends who are not feeling well.
