Great service. Overall, their food was OK, I suppose? Their mushroom dol-sot bibimbap and their kimchi tofu soup were both under seasoned, and flavorless. Truly disappointed. Their seafood pancake seemed like it was old and the shrimp were not deveined. Their Banchans were certainly not fresh, in fact their bean sprout Banchan had some mold on it. I would not recommend coming here even though their server was polite and kind. The worst $50 spent on a meal for lunch

This is the spot for soondoobu jigae and other hearty stews. In my mind, this is my gold standard for flavor of stews. We have been coming here for years and this restaurant is our favorite. We always order the combination of stew and bbq. The portions are generous and filling. I add the fried fish because I love it so much. The gentleman who runs the establishment is friendly and he is so great.

We enjoyed the food from here. The quinoa bibimbap was something new that I have never tried at any Korean restaurant anywhere. If you are in the area and your adventurous you should give it a try! The vegetarian pancakes were crispy and freshly made. We also loved the hot corn tea they served us.

We came here for lunch and we ordered 2 lunch combo meals. I ordered the BBQ short rib and beef tofu soup, which I highly recommend. The short rib was very flavorful and the soup was perfect for today's chilly weather. My friend ordered the pork bulgogi and kimchi tofu soup. The pork bulgogi was pretty good with the onions, but the kimchi soup was more sour than other kimchi soups that I've had before. I would say that the Banchan appetizers weren't the best that I've tried, but it wasn't the main part of the meal anyway. Overall a good lunch stop!

This was our first time eating Korean. Loved it. I told the waiter we knew nothing ( we did have some ideas from a friend) and he was helpful and kept me from ordering a side of rice since rice came with the soup. He also made sure I knew what to do with the raw egg in its shell that was presented. There were so many dishes of sauces and condiments I would never have known to add it to my soup which was served actually still boiling. We ordered the veggie pancake, a mushroom bibimbab, and mushroom tofu soup. All was very tasty and not too salty. The tea we ordered was great but sweetened. I would have ordered unsweetened or not at all if I had realized this.We were here on Sunday night around 7 and not busy. Parking plentiful and free.

Visited for the first time in a long time! Even though I live in a different state, it makes visiting GA worth while to find the good ol OG restaurants still in operation! Best mushroom and gopchang tofu in town ; you wont find anywhere better.

The soondubu is amazing! Really cute, family-owned establishment. This will definitely be my go to Korean restaurant!

My first visit. I had the Galbi, and thought it was excellent. The portion was fine for me and the banchan dishes were excellent and they refilled them. Not like some of the AYCE bbq places that have to roll you out. I want to branch out and try some of Tofu dishes next time.

TL;DR - Absolutely worth a try.The last time when I was here was a few years ago. This time, there are not many people in the restaurant. Three tables, including us, and only one waiter. The lack of customers and servers got me very concerned. We order a Seafood and Beef Tofu Soup and a Seafood Pancake. After that first bite of seafood pancake and the first sip of tofu soup, all the concerns mentioned above have gone away.My biggest complaint is the size of the soup. The diameter of the bowl is way less than the size of my palm. The bowl is probably only 4.5 inches in diameter. If you need a reference, use your phone. The bowl diameter is perhaps smaller than your phone’s screen size.

We had a great dining experience at Cho Dang Tofu House! We came here on a Thursday evening at about 7:30 pm. There is a chain link fence surrounding the property and the parking lot and building look like they've had better days. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the only employee that I saw the entire time I was here. We were seated immediately and provided menus. There were three other tables with customers sitting at them at the time. I was actually amazed by how welcoming and customer focused our server was. She was also quick and efficient. There was nothing fancy about the appearance of the dining area or the decor, but I just knew the food had to be great. I know there was at least one other employee in the restaurant because I heard someone cooking the food, but we never saw any other employee. Kudos to our hard working server! R ordered bulgogi and I ordered short ribs. Our meals came as a combo, and we both ordered the soon tofu soup (hot pot). In no time at all, our server brought us six small bowls of banchan to share: diced pickled potatoes, bean sprouts, kimchi, pickled cabbage, spicy pickled cucumbers, and seaweed, all of which we could request refills. The banchan here was all great tasting and full of flavors. A few minutes later, we were brought roiling boiling hot pots of soon tofu soup and two raw eggs which we cracked into our soup, stirring quickly to break up the egg and preventing it from cooking into large chunks. The soup was tasty and smooth, and had large chunks of semi-firm tofu. The grilled meats, served on hot cast iron plates, smelled fantastic as they arrived at our table. My short ribs were served on a bed made of ribbons of onion, and all of it was sizzling. I had to move the short ribs off of the plate because I didn't want them dried out from the quick charring process. The ribs were obviously marinated, and the slightly sweetened soy flavor carried on throughout all of the meat. I was saddened as I ate the last of the short rib meat. *sigh* This meal was very filling and so, soo, sooooooo delicious! Great food and great service - they were so worth the prices!

I've been coming here since I was a child, and the food has remained as delicious as ever! The owners of the restaurant have been kind and welcoming each time I've gone. I would recommend the dumpling tofu soup, the vegetable tofu soup, the kimchi beef tofu soup, and the seafood tofu soup! The food is rich in flavor each time! It is also great how they offer free ice cream!

Don't underestimate this restaurant, because this was the best tofu soup I've ever had. There was hardly anybody in the restaurant, it was pretty quiet, however we had a large group of about 16. The waiter was very patient and sweet, they served us quick. And the people who work here are very kind. Thank you!!
