Waited 30 minutes for an empty table. told the waitress that I am new here and I don’t not understand the menu how this place work . She told me that the table that I am eating it’s a minimum of $80. I said okay . Next I scan the barcode and was looking at the menu the picture looks OK when I ordered the food comes out so small of a portion it was not even enough to eat. My total came to $156 for nothing waste of money the food was not even food. It is so disrespectful that they even charge somebody like this waste of money waste of people time and then when I pay upfront they expect me to give them a $20 tip. 156$+20$what! Poor just horrible! I don’t even understand how the other people give this place a 5 star! O saw some real reviews please do not come here !

Will not go back again. Saw it featured on IG and went - it was horrible.The sweet and sour pork sauce was watery, unflavored, and inadequate. The chicken heart was a bit burnt, dry, and def overcooked.Overall, portion sizes are small and side dishes are pricey - one small order of chives costs $5.Posting this publicly. If you want good Chinese style bbq, I recommend 客串江湖 next to Great Wall Super Market.

The food was excellent! Best kabob in Atlanta. I ordered the sweet and sour pork, rice noodle, beef tender meet kabob, and grilled cold noodle. Definitely recommend these. The environment was also very cute with the little toys on every table ends.
It's delicious. I've eaten there twice before. The quality of the meat is very good and the food is average. But isn't it a bit too much for you not to open the door when the time comes? A friend from out of town took her to have barbecue, but the restaurant was closed and she could only eat bbq chicken next door. Did the shop owner sleep with you? The store was still not open when I arrived at 12:15 noon on Sunday. The opening time at the door and on Google Maps is 12 o'clock to be precise. The first time I encountered this kind of store, I still couldn’t get through on the phone, so I gave in.

I suggest you also look elsewhere at other kabobs places bc this place is not good value for your money.I came here for dinner a few weeks ago with my husband and a friend. There is a minimum order spend if you want to do the charcoal grilling yourself. I believe it was 70-80 and so it is quite steep. The food was fine in terms of flavor but the portion was so small, be in skewer amount or quantity. We ordered some side dishes that were ~$15 per plate and again the portions were tiny. I understand businesses need to make a profit but this was just unreasonable. My friend left still hungry even though we spent close to $200 before tip! For 3 ppl!!Worst of all, on our way out to the car the guy at the front chased after us asking for tips despite us leaving $20 cash. Who does that? Tips aren’t mandatory and you don’t chase after your customers asking for it.

Once upon a time Kochi Maru was great. I hope people will realize that they are no longer serving you the food as seen on google and yelp pics. For $30 you can eat somewhere else with better quality and quantity. Do not come here! It is a waste of money and you will leave feeling scammed.

Restaurant was so cold, even the kitchen staff were wearing thick jackets.Lamb skewers came out first, followed by mapo tofu but nothing else to eat mapo tofu with. I had ordered 2 egg fried rice, but mapo tofu was cold by the time fried rice was out. I had to remind the server that we're still waiting on fried rice and dumplings.The server took our empty water jug and never brought it back. Had no water to drink for the final 1/3 of our meal.But they were quick as hell to bring the check out to my table.Edit: The server never spoke to us except "how many?" When we first walked in.Also, the owner came outside to speak with me after noticing no tip on the ticket. I explained everything that I had recorded here, and he was nice enough to offer me a full refund of $88 for our meal, but I refused. The food was good, not the service.
All the skewers tasted the same. We ordered the lamb, a beef, a beef prime rib, and 2 orders of chicken hearts. After spending 100 dollars, my husband and I were still hungry. The portions are small and the pricing seems so high especially with no sides.

After double-checking with the manager and confirming it was open, she finally assigned me a table to sit. I ordered the BBQ beef intestine and beef tendon, both of which were served cold (maybe because I came in too late and they did not even bother making fresh food?). Will never come to this restaurant again.
