My recent visit to Teatop left me extremely disappointed. Despite clearly stating my preference for a drink that wasn't overly sweet, I ended up going with 50%, the one I received tasted like liquid syrup. When I calmly asked if they could dilute it, the employee initially agreed, but then her boss intervened and said no.I wasn't even asking for it to be remade, just an adjustment, yet they couldn't even offer that. And they didn’t offer me anything else that suggested they cared about me as a customer.It was incredibly disappointing to leave with a drink I can't even enjoy. Overall, I will not come back and advise others who don’t enjoy sweet drinks to get 30% or not at all. Or just go somewhere else!

Ever since the pandemic, Tea Top has been operating as a "to-go only" tea shop, so keep that in mind, those who like to linger. I don't know if that will change in the future but I'm personally fine either way.I've been going to Tea Top for years, recently pretty much on a weekly basis. I really like the drink options offered here and haven't really had a bad drink yet. Prices are competitive and even better than nearby shops, which offer mediocre drinks at higher prices. Whether you prefer your tea to taste like tea or you want to drink your dessert, there's something for everyone. Tea Top allows you to adjust sugar and ice levels on the majority of the drinks. I'm not sure if TT offers alternative milk options bc I normally get milky drinks anyway. My friends speak highly of the milk foam drinks though.Just a disclaimer, I don't order "normal" tapioca pearls as a topping so I can't speak for the "boba". However, I LOVE aiyu jelly and I'm so glad to find a shop that offers aiyu jelly topping which actually tastes delicious and is texturally pleasing!Highly recommending:• Wintermelon Alpine Green Tea (+ grass jelly)• Sun Moon Lake Tea (with milk if you can handle lactose, + grass/coffee jelly)• Passion Green Tea Medley (comes with tapioca and lychee jelly, I sub out tapioca for aiyu)• Mango Slush (+ crystal boba)• (Hot) Longan Ginger TeaListen, never in my life had I ordered a hot drink at a bubble tea shop... until a week ago, when I got strep throat, and this longan ginger tea has been one of the most comforting things to hug the insides of my mouth. The ginger flavor isn't too strong, which I appreciate. There are even pieces of longan you can chew on when you finish your drink. If you're feeling under the weather or having digestion issues, get this drink!

Sun Moon Lake Fresh Milk Tea: 10/10If you know me, you know i loveeeee boba. Tea Top has been one of my favorite spots ever since discovering it a few years ago. It is a small place that doesn't have seating, so it's more of a grab and go vibe. This doesn't take away from how fresh and good their tea is consistently!! I've tried a few things on their menu and have never been disappointed!! Their Sun Moon Lake Tea is among my all time favs!! If you're near the area or passing through, this is worth stopping for
