Rigo's in Douglas has good food and great salsa, but when it comes to their quoted pickup times for call in/pick up orders it is vastly incorrect. The last three call in orders that I have made they quoted me 10 to 15 minutes and every one of them was at least 25 minutes. Otherwise, they seem like nice people, and pricing is reasonable.
When we walked in the restaurant smelled like my Abuelita's kitchen when I was growing up, and immediately my stomach started rumbling. Both my husband and myself ordered the Carne Asada and drinks (Grapefruit Jarrito & Mexican Coke in a bottle) for lunch.The chips and salsa were individual servings, which was nice, and the salsa itself was delicious with a good flavor of cilantro. Here’s what I loved about this place: the food was very tasty. It was super clean. Everything came out really fast. The lady taking our order was super friendly, we asked for extra radishes and she did indeed deliver. Here is what I didn’t like.
