This place is truly a Timeless Treat! Great service and the food is delicious! If you want a home cooked meal definitely stop by here. I LOVE the cornbread, super moist. The peach cobbler is always delicious. Second time eating here and the food tastes even more delicious than the first. I love the baked chicken. Very sizable portions too. This food is definitely prepared with love. 10/10! Highly recommend. Also, just tried the ginger hibiscus cupcake and let me telll you "AHHHHHHMAZINGGGGGG". The moistness. The flavor! Woooh. I need more. Delicious.

Ordered food for our teammates on a Friday and everyone in the shop loved it! Store was super clean, one of the cleanest around. Customer Service was top tier. They should have a class for this because they do it so well! We will be back!!!

It’s my first time trying this establishment and I can truly say these ladies know how to cook soul food! I’ve been trying a few of these new soul food restaurants that have come to waDouglasville recently and by far this is the best! It also happens to be very close to my house so I will be coming here quite often! I had the baked chicken, potato salad and collard greens. The chicken was a big size leg quarter not skimpy like other places I’ve tried recently, and the meat was so moist and tender, not greasy, it was falling off the bone. The flavor was excellent! I also tried the potato salad and let me tell you I don’t eat everybody’s potato salad, but I haven’t had potato salad this good since my mama’s potato salad, almost made me cry! Lol Next were the collard greens and they too were very flavorful and tender and had very few stems. My spouse had the vegetable plate and the Lima beans were awesome. I love whatever was mixed with them, maybe a bit of celery or chow chow, not sure which one but the flavor was delicious! And finally someone’s making a Mac and cheese truly from scratch with real sharp cheddar cheese, not that velveta what I call fake cheese stuff! This Mac and cheese was made with love. I wish I’d gotten a second portion. For dessert I tried the banana pudding and it too was delicious! The bananas were fresh and the filling was light and airy! I tried to save some for later and ended up eating the whole container in one sitting lol! The red velvet cheesecake was to die for as well. The cornbread was sweet and complimented the whole meal plus you also get a beverage choice of bottled water or ginger ale along with the meal. I will definitely be returning to try more items! Thank you ladies for bringing such flavor to Douglasville! I was so anxious to try the food I forgot to take pictures, but next time!Vegetarian options: All the vegetables we tried had a clean taste not greasy and were perfectly cooked and seasoned!Parking: There is always parking available and it’s free.

I love the food here. I usually get the whiting mac and cheese, and Collard greens. One time I tried the salmon it was too dry for my liking. Overall I love the service and the food. Thank

Local restaurant in Douglasville, GA, with great home cook style food. They greet everyone with a smile when you enter. And the hardest part is choosing what to get. Don't forget to get a desert also.

Everything was great and exceeded our expectations. My husband and I had desserts with our meal and we were nearly speechless, we just looked at each other and said wow this is good! We had a peanut butter cookie, banana pudding, sweet potato cheesecake, and a lemon pound cake……deliciousness!

First time eating here, the only thing I would say is the collard greens were bland and my Mac and cheese was a little watery. Cornbread and chicken was really good. I’d try another dish my next

I finally had an opportunity to stop in. I ordered baked chicken, candy yams, Mac and cheese, and field peas. The baked chicken was deeeelicious, falling off the bone!I'm not sure what was missing from the candy yams, maybe more sugar or butter? Something was missing...I personally like my mac and cheese baked a little longer.I probably won't order the field peas again, not my favorite. While I enjoyed the cornbread, it was reminiscent of Jiffy (I like it) but I know some people don't like slightly sweet cornbread. Now, I tasted the mozzarella salad. OMG!!! THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST THING EVERRRR!!! BUY THIS!!!I didn't get dessert maybe next time.Customer service was fantastic the mom and daughter working the front were so sweet! ?It's take out only but I imagine they may grow to dine in. I hope they add sweet tea options in the future. Can't have soul food without sweet tea.Very clean place and sweet people. I will definitely come back to try the other menu options.
