I wish she offered baking classes. I would attend. The bread pudding brought me back to my childhood. It was one of the best things my mom would make and I would sneak and eat it all the time. I brought a slice of almost every cake and cookie and I can't pick only 1 as a favorite. Everything was so amazing. It is worth the money. I will forever be a customer. Thank you for your amazing customer service as well.

I really like this bakery the hospitality, is off the charts & the fresh baked goods are unbelievable im from newyork & I thought newyork had it all , but was I wrong can't believe all this is done on the premises, I can't believe I sat in the shoppe & ate a Big piece of strawberry short cake , but that was not my intentions I really went inside to just see what they had.Lord help me, I just added another temptation ? ? ?

I visited this establishment on Saturday 12/02/23. There were a good variety of items to choose from. However, the item I wanted was their chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. There were only two pieces out and they were both end pieces. I don't care for end pieces because of the hard outer edge of the cake. So I asked the gentleman if they had anymore chocolate cake other than the two end pieces. He never said yes or no, he just said "get the mint chocolate or the German chocolate." I told him I wanted the chocolate cake, but I prefer center pieces. He then repeated his first comment about choosing another item. I left it alone and we bought 4 other desserts. When we got home to try them, the cake was not fresh. Out of the two pieces of cake we chose, neither was moist. We also chose two different kinds of brownies. They also were not fresh tasting. All four items had some sort of sticky substance in them that as you pulled them apart or took a piece by fork, they was something that pulled out like a cheese or glaze. It was something I'd never seen before with cake or brownies. We ended up throwing all four items away. I think the desserts there are not freshly baked, so you have a good chance of selecting something that's been sitting for several days. There are no freshness dates on the containers or anything indicating when the desserts were made. Based on my experience, I probably won't be back. I spent around $30.

First, this is one of the Best small batch bakeries that I have been to! It is black-owned, which is a plus. Every time I've visited this place, the desserts never disappointed me. They offer many different selections, from cakes, brownies, cookies, stuffed bars, cobbler, and ice cream. Their cakes, OMG, are so Moist!!! My favorite is the stuffed chocolate chip cookie and don't let me forget those delicious brownies! Amazing!! This is a Must Try!!! Nice, little French ambiance with French music in the background playing. The owner/baker's husband always provides great service as he is in the front helping mange the sales. If you are near the Douglasville area, you definitely should stop by this place.

I didn't even make it out of the car. I had to take a second to type up this review. I read the reviews before stopping in. I'm new to the area and have been CRAVING banana pudding. I read negative reviews about the gentleman who works there. I stopped in with my 2 daughters. He could not have been more kind. Maybe he was having a bad moment when the other reviewer stopped in. He went out of his way to discreetly ask me if my girls could have a treat. We could all stand to grant each other a little more grace. The customer service was wonderful. My pudding was DELICIOUS ? ?. I will certainly be back.

Customer service sucks if you get the little short black man that works behind the counter, but the food is delicious, a little pricey, yet, I go in regularly. I love supporting this black owned business. it's a woman who owns the business and she's very pleasant and personable, her revenue would probably triple if she would get rid of the husband behind the counter, let him stay his dry butt home, and go ahead and hire somebody to service the clients. The husband's very nonchalant, dry, boring and he hates to answer any questions. I don't care how happy I am when I walk in after dealing with him I'm always leaving the place on a lower tone scale. The owner must not read the reviews because I can see other people previews and they say the same thing. Based on the way that man acts, I'm not sure he's not trying to secretly destroy her business. On a lighter note bring your wallet because the pastry goods are awesome and you will end up spending a pretty penny, but, it will be worth it

Came in right before closing and wasn’t expecting a whole lot being so late , I was impressed with the gentleman working and even more impressed with the cake , (coconut cake), great service , great dessert , we will be back for sure , thanks iced and topped
