I ate Haenaetang. It was my first time seeing this menu, so I tried it and it tasted good. The soup tasted a bit like beef stew, and it contained finely cut bean sprouts, beef intestines, and blood, and the radish radish kimchi was delicious. However, I gave 4 stars because I was dissatisfied with the fact that my companions unilaterally calculated the tip without any explanation. Korean guests need an explanation about ‘group tip’~~~

We ordered pork broth and mackerel and were very disappointed. They were too sweet and had a bad aftertaste. Kimchi was too sweet as well.

Went here over the weekend with the folks. We all had the Yang Pyung Sunji Haejang Gook 양평 선지 해장국. Which is the hangover soup with blood cubes. The soups came out bubbling hot. They had just the right amount of salt. The waitress told us that the soups were spicy but they weren't spicy to us. We asked for Dadaegi - a red hot pepper flake paste. They also bring you fresh minced chili peppers along with the Dadaegi. With the addition of those, they soups tasted better. The soups were chock full of the blood cubes, pork (not sure what part they were), chitterlings, cabbage and bean sprouts. I didn't eat the chitterlings, blood or pork and ended up giving it to my folks. Out of all the Korean soup places we have been to, they liked this place the most. The banchan is minimal. Fresh peppers, raw onions, Ssamjang (a mixed paste normally used for lettuce wraps or to dip veges in) and 2 types of kimchi. The cabbage kimchi was tasty. It tasted like fresh kimchi (Guhtjeoli) and the turnip kimchi was slightly sour, but still really good. We usually don't like the kimchi at restaurants. Service is friendly. Food comes out fairly quickly. The restaurant is very casual. Expect to leave smelling like Korean soup. During the week they have lunch specials which are about $4 cheaper than normal price. All in all a good place for some hangover soup. Curious to see what other dishes taste like. The restaurant warrants future visits

Rudest Korean restaurant in Atlanta!!!Rude staff.Bad service. Wouldn’t 1000% recommend this place to others.I went to this place to have dinner last weekend. When I asked the server questions about the menu, as it has insufficient English description , she just ignored me and left. I had to Google every item’s Korean name to get a picture and decided what I wanted to order. The server only came to our table 3 times during the whole time: unsuccessful order, successful order, get check. Never smiled making me feel I did something wrong.I gave them ~16% tip based on the service I received(seems too much now).

This is my go-to place for pork-rice soup. They have special pricing going for $9.99 all day (no take out) until end of November 2023.

Frankly. I won't be back here to do something. The food with overflowing artificial flavor enhancers made our company uncomfortable.. even the lower price.

Took more than 35 minutes for a kimchi jjigae. Server's attitude was nasty as well, never coming here again

The food at this restaurant offers authentic Korean cuisine that I enjoyed. But I was disappointed by aspects of the service. It seems that they are not capable to serve non-Korean customers - Koreans are obviously much more welcomed.I understand the language barrier they might have. What really annoys me is their manipulation of our tips - there was an issue with the tip amount being changed after the meal that made me really uncomfortable. And they refused to have argues after that.I know these folks are pretty okay even if they serve Koreans only as there are a lot of Koreans live nearby. But honestly they just deepened my impression with my friends that typical elder Koreans are stingy and unreasonable. Lol.

Don Soo Baek (돈수백) restaurant has a striking resemblance to ToDamGoal (토담골) restaurant, which I frequented while living in New Jersey. 토담골 was renowned for its 돼지국밥, and the flavors were absolutely delightful. The hearty soup had a knack for satisfying hunger and rejuvenating my body. So, when 돈수백 opened its doors some time ago, I was quite excited. Its taste closely mirrored my experiences at 토담골. The name "돈수백" translates to "Eating reliably cooked pork and enjoying a healthy life up to 100 years old." This name embodies the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. However, I was genuinely surprised when I noticed the restaurant's relatively low Google review rating. I couldn't fathom how such a place could receive a less than stellar rating. Upon some investigation, I uncovered two primary reasons. First, 돈수백 should consider focusing its menu solely on "pork" dishes, in line with its name, which relates to pork-based items like 돼지국밥 or 해장국. It was evident that most of the negative reviews stemmed from non-pork items such as 냉면 or 왕만두. Streamlining the menu to center around pork dishes might help elevate their offerings. I'd also recommend that customers try 돼지국밥, rather than venturing into other menu items that can easily be found in other Korean restaurants. This specialization could further enhance the dining experience. I thoroughly relished the 돼지국밥 today, as always. The thrill of adding 부추 to the steaming 돼지국밥, along with the marinated sauce and chopped pepper, was an adventure for the taste buds. The bowl was generously packed with slices of 돼지고기, perfect for dipping in the 양념새우젓. And, of course, combining the entire bowl of white rice with the 돼지국밥 was a must. To top it off, their 깍두기 and 겉절이 were exceptional. I savored every last drop of the soup and every grain of rice. This is how you savor the good life.Parking: It’s located within a plaza with other businesses. I seldom experienced difficulties finding a spot for me.
