Went to the diner with my friend. I noticed our check was higher than it should be. I questioned the server. He said that he automatically add gratuity to our bill because we have came in with other coworkers and did not tip. I told him that we always tip. I also told him that it was a choice. I told him that we don’t have to tip if we don’t want to. He went on to say that’s how the make their living. He said that if we choose not to tip, do not come back. I thought that was horrible to say. Guess what, I haven’t been back.

Cute little off the grid diner. Great food! My only complaint was that the employees didn't seem to speak much English (which cause her to input my order wrong) and they weren't very friendly. I'd visit again- maybe it was just an off day?!

Not good. I went because of the high rating. Ordered chicken and waffles. Poor quality waffle. Manager says they have been making it for many years so I should like it...smh chicken was chicken fingers and Not wings ..FYI which was salty. Charged extra $3.50 for those blue berries you see on the waffle. $20 for this...

One of the best Greek gyro and salmon salads I've had, also the biggest serving of spanakopita I've ever seen! Everything came out in a timely manner and the food was delicious! Well played Duluth Diner!

We ate at the Duluth Diner for dinner last night. The service was adequate. The food was horrible, truly. My husband ordered cream of mushroom soup, laden with either flour or cornstarch to thicken. His chicken marsala was tasteless. I ordered an open faced grilled cheese which consisted of burnt toasted white bread, one slice of tomato and one slice of orange cheese distributed over two slices of bread with overdone bacon. I ate the slice of tomato and called it quits. My son ordered the fried shrimp which were so greasy he left all but two of them. This morning he woke up with terrible diarrhea and stomach cramps. We ordered a slice of red velvet cake which we brought home to eat. It is imported from the Alpine Bakery is delicious. We ate here ten years ago when we first moved to the area and never returned until last night. It will be our last meal there.

Went to Duluth Diner for lunch. Quickly sat and met by a server. We were not ready to order as it was our first time - did get our drinks quickly. Asked again if we were ready to order - it’s been about 2 minutes. We were not ready to order as the food choices are a lot. Server seemed annoyed and did not come back for some time. Finally ordered. Food came out quickly. Server did not return to our table until we finished eating. The steak omelette was not good. Steak was more like very tough small pieces of beef jerky. Not much flavor. Would not get it again. Waffles were good.The others servers seemed like they were doing a great job - not so much ours.Probably won’t be back.
