The best bento boxes I’ve ever had! If you’re a fan of Jang Su Jang, then you know they’re famous for their side dishes. JS Kitchen by Jang Su Jang is a grab n go shop offering the best quality side dishes. They serve bento boxes with the menu changing each day. I recommend that you follow their IG story for the daily menu. Sometimes, they sell out quick, so it’s recommended that you go there early! I am from out of town, so I picked up a bulgogi bento box to go. I didn’t eat it until the next day, but the bulgogi and side dishes still tasted fresh. The box also comes with purple rice and soup. JS Kitchen makes purple rice only—no white rice. I am not usually a fan of purple rice but I had no option. However, this is probably the best purple rice I’ve had! I will be returning to JS Kitchen each time that I’m in town.

This place reminds me of the food I ate when I went on a business trip to Atlanta! Since I worked at night, I stopped by before work to pick up a packed lunch and ate it for lunch in the early morning, and it was delicious and filling, just like home-cooked food! The food is neat and clean! I was always grateful for the warm and welcoming welcome I received even when I went and picked up the store before it closed!

The staff here alone gets a 10/10 from me and this is a 5 star review site. The ladies here were super kind and helpful that if everyone were like them we'd have a much better world. They're a banchan shop mainly but they also sell bentos which were huge and so filling with an amazing variety. I can't truly speak to the banchan part as I haven't bought any directly from them yet - but I will as they've got so many that it's hard to keep track of where to even begin. They ranged from tempura octopus, to spiced peanuts, to cucumber salad. I repeat - variety. The bento boxes however are amazing. Around $15, they come in different combinations which change daily. If you have any questions the staff is really willing to help with whatever they can. Honestly, they're great. Give this place a try.

I don't know if the owner or the chef has changed, but the taste has changed so much that I don't know what I'm eating for Korean food at this price. It's really not recommended for now.

I went there after being introduced to it as a side dish store. It's really unfriendly and there aren't many side dishes. I won't go again.

I ordered a $40-per-person meal for 10 people, but in particular, the marinated skate did not contain 10% skate and was more than 90% pickled radish. There is nothing to eat among the 6 foods. Looks like I threw away $400-. Never order.

This is a banchan (side dish) shop but they have limited lunch bento boxes. They have a different menu everyday. When I saw the bento box, I was so surprised how colorful and by the variety of different food to eat from. It was very filling, but didn't feel overly heavy. There was rice, japchae, portein(pork cutlet), tempura sweet potato, cucumber, kimbap (fried with egg) , potato salad, and, rice cake. Everything tasted fresh and like a home cooked food . The price was reasonable for so much yummy food. The food in the bento boxes changes daily~ The kimchi was sooooo good here!!! This spot was very delightful because it felt like home and the owner/worker were so sweet and attentive. Please note that there is limited seats.

The food at Jangsujang is of very good quality. Especially when foreigners experience Korean food, it can be a great opportunity for them. The price can also be adjusted to the amount you are considering, and the cashier always provides friendly advice. You’re the best, Jangsujang! PS: The photo shows catering for 23 people, $20 per person.I swear J's Kitchen catering foods are very good quality. Especially when foreigners try to experience Korean foods, it must be a great opportunity for them. The price can also be adjusted according to the amount you are considering, and the cashier is always kind and giving a good advice to make the suitable order. It's the best! Stopped by here, but unfortunately menu was lacking in the way of picture representation of the menu items as well as any form of English description, of the items, so I didn't get past the ordering phase, which I find a shame, as the resturant seemed to be nice, and was looking forward to trying what they had to offer, as I'm allergic to shellfish and mushrooms, I just couldn't risk it, hope others may have a better experience.

I had several events where I had JS Kitchen bento boxes as catering. I've also stopped by for a quick lunch pickup, and I think it beats out pretty much any other Korean lunch boxes I've had, even in restaurants. The food quality and taste is top notch, as would be expected of a Jang Soo Jang affiliate. When I first dropped in for a quick lunch, I noticed that there weren't any ready-to-go bento boxes to view or pick from. The cashier was friendly and explained that the boxes are put together at the time of order so that everything is fresh and hot. It took maybe 10 minutes tops for them to put together 4 bento boxes for us with freshly cooked bulgogi. Food was excellent and totally worth $12 a box.

they were rude, impatient, customer service was horrible=worst experience. I do not recommend.

Ordered catering for my daughter’s 1st birthday and the large size of bulgogi we ordered for 30 people was spoilt. It tasted sour and no one touched or ate the bulgogi because of how sour it smelled. We ordered japchae, galbi, and jeons and they were good but the large container of bulgogi was $180, if I remember correctly, and we just ended up throwing away $180. We made sure to put the food in the heater before serving, so it was definitely spoilt when we picked it up. Bulgogi doesn’t even spoil easily thats the thing, so this meat is probably old. Our special event was ruined and will not be ordering from here again if they can’t even prepare bulgogi fresh and correctly.

Bonchun ++. Ambiance is is clean, spacious and modern albeit located in the outer shops of the Gwinnett Mall on Satellite. +++. JSK specializes in prepared Korean condiments and limited meals / lunch specials. I tried several condiments to go. They were authentic and exceptional. They have a good variety of bonchun that are not found in restaurants. JSK does NOT use MSG! ++ Traditional kimchi was medium fresh, moderate heat and full of textures. +++ Cucumber kimchi was my favorite! These were sliced thin like pickles rather than chunkier stuffed ones. ++. Squid and scallions were interesting in a good way +++. Purple rice was delicious! It's rare for me to like everything from one place, but JSK nailed it. Unless you have someone who makes traditional Korean Bonchun varieties beyond kimchi and kongnamer, this is as good as it gets. Can't wait to try their lunch specials. +. Price is on the high side. Figure ~ 3X to 4X Hmart $. ++. Service was very pleasant. One of the owners spoke fluent English and while the woman behind the counter spoke limited English, she was friendly and helpful. +. Parking is free and shared. JSK's bonchun are spectacular! Only thing I would suggest is that they stop using styrofoam containers. Other than that JSK is nearly perfect. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!

Geez. This place is not warm. I walked in and there's a room where a lot people are in. The lady at the desk is already helping a couple. The people that are gathered in the room stop talking to all look at me. I realized this is a korean establishment but being in duluth i assumed they've encountered other races before.... I felt instantly uncomfortable. The couple infront of me leave and I step up... still no greeting.Me: hi, I've never been here before. How do i order?Unfriendly lady: ( nada)Me: soooooo can you help me out?Unfriendly lady: you order boxesAnother guest walks in and she said hi to him in Korean.I start wandering around. I say thank you and leave.I definitely feel like if they could have a NO BLACKS sign out they would. It was super uncomfortable. EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. I was really excited for lunch too. :( this place deserves a zero.
