Awesome store front Vietnamese Bakery inside city farmers market. They have a lot of Vietnamese baked items I have never had. I had a Bhan Mi that was filled with pork and tasted awesome for only $5. Staff is super friendly!

The service was very good but, I went to try the Arabic food and we liked NOTHING, the tabbouleh was super salty, everything tasted like a lot of marinade. And high prices for the quality of the product. ? the fries are good.

I don't think Panaderia was ever that great. It is just convenience. I don't know why food court at Assi fails. Yeah, Panaderia is located inside Assi food court. It is dead and seems like no one cares to even eat there anymore. I wonder the fate of Assi, in general. I personally still like Assi but rather go to H Mart. I used to like Assi more cause of the Desi products I could get but they don't have all those like they used to see I stopped going as much as. A few years ago, I got tres leches from Panaderia for a graduation party. I decided to head to Panaderia to order a full sheet of tres leches for a celebration at work. Since I had a few weeks to order, I wanted to talk to someone about the pricing, when I should order, stuff like that. No one is ever up front. Everyone is in the back and don't even pay attention to people coming by. I had to flag down someone. When that person finally noticed me, she didn't even come up to me and just yelled to me and kept continuing working. Now, I gotta give her props for still working on what she was doing. I wasn't complaining about that. My complaint is me coming a week later to finally place an order. NO ONE was there. I was there for 15 minutes. I saw NO ONE. I had no idea what number to call to see if anyone would pick up. I saw a number on a flyer that had the name of another bakery, it seemed like but same address as Panaderia. I called, got an answer saying yes, same bakery and she will be tehre in 5 minutes. 10 minutes go by. No one. 5 more minutes. No one. I walked away. I will no longer order come. Bye Felicia. 44/2018

My rating is actually closer to 4 stars but I think Grace K.'s assessment and comparison of this bakery is unfair. This is not a Korean bakery, it is Mexican. Oftentimes I read reviews where an establishment lives up (and at times, surpasses) expectations for its category and people get disappointed when it is unlike something else that is not related. Korean bakeries are excellent; the care, talent, and dedication with which the cakes, pastries, cookies, etc. are made is high up there with the best. In my experience, if one is accustomed to European-style desserts (from which Korean and other Asian bakers take their cue), Latin bakeries may disappoint. The style is more rustic and the flavors are different, as are the textures and level of moistness. Having tried several Mexican bakeries in the Atlanta area, I would say they are very good at what they do. They do not set out to imitate Korean bakeries; they do their own thing and I appreciate the diversity that they add to the bakery scene (which I am a fixed part of). This bakery offers a large variety of buns, cakes, cookies, and other pastries for its clients to feast on and everything is extremely reasonably priced. I like the conchas, which was buns with a sugary topping. I get these every once in a while to share with my in-laws (and myself) and I also like the fruit-filled empanadas. The service is great here and recently, I had the pleasure of trying their available-on-the-weekend only tamales. Holy ssssss... Amazing and if I recall correctly, they were less than $2 or right around there. I loaded up on 3, thinking that at that price, they had to be scrawny. Despite my physical appearance, I can eat quite a bit and still had to take home one. I got the chicken ones with the salsa verde (green sauce). Delicious and not TOO spicy. As a side note, the proprietors are a married couple. The woman is Mexican and the husband is Chinese and he speaks great Spanish! If you know me, I am another Southeast Asian who speaks enough Spanish to use this skill professionally and converse with strangers who don't expect it from me.
