The crispy pork and tofu rice, the meat inside is extremely salty and hard to chew, taste more like some preserved meat, definitely not fresh, and since is covered with sauce it’s hard to tell what meat they put inside. The meat doesn’t have the crispy skin so I am thinking they used other meat instead.Honey pork bbq, very very disappointed, I got half tasty fresh meat and the other half is old hard to chew meat. And overly salty.Quail I think is tasty but little bit too salty.Lemon tea very fresh, and the waitress was very nice to refill my drink.

One of the best chinese , no the best food hands down. A 10 out of 10. Their crispy pork is delicious. But try the salty fish fried rice, you will never eat fried rice anywhere else.

Not sure why they changed the flavor of the duck but I bought a whole duck and couldn't eat it It's like the skin was wet, not crispy and the flavor was way off.I normally eat at the Mings in Doraville and they are so much better in a sense of freshness!I asked the bloke was it made today and he lied and said yes.The honey barbecue pork was off too.Not sure if it changed owners but the quality of the food was horrible. I spent $130 and so regret it.

I found a roach in my food. No picture as I was extremely distraught . They quickly apologized and offered something else . Along with taking it off of my bill. However , it was still there . Floating in my soup .

What an unusual place, all handmade real Chinese BBQ. Was very greasy and delicious! That's the way actual canton BBQ is. They have quail too I need to come back. Very good greens too.

I had the misfortune of stopping by to eat here the other day. My friend and each got a "staple" dish of rice, two meats and some greens. Char Siu is a BBQ pork dish that is slow cooked over a smokey fire, and lathered many times during cooking with a honey and spice BBQ sauce. This leaves the meat with a nice smoke ring, some sweet and smokey flavors that are wonderful. Sadly, this was not the case for the Char Siu at Ming's. One of the other meats we both tried is the crispy skin roast pork. Crispy skin roast pork is a long and involved cooking process that leaves the pork skin with a lot of crunch and flavor. Ming's crispy skin was tough and chews. If I didn't know better, I would swear the meat was cooked yesterday or before. The last item was roast duck. This is another of the "staple" dish items at any Chinese restaurant worth anything will serve. Duck, by itself, has a lot of flavor. Add the five spice seasoning to it and it becomes even more so. How then is it the duck was ehhhh when it comes to flavor? The highlight of my dish was the Chinese broccoli, if that says anything. This is not one that I could recommend to anyone. The original Ming's sold somewhere around covid, and I am going to guess that was the last time the food was good. The current owner doesn't appear to care that the place is heading quickly to closing for good.

I went in and ordered takeout. Food was ready fairly quickly which was nice. Portion size was decent. I got the crispy roast pork over rice. My main complaint was that the pork was cold. Maybe something else would have been better but the pork wasn't great cold and there were a lot of bones.

Ever since this establishment was sold and changed ownership (despite they kept the name), quality has gone DOWNHILL.I asked and the dour waitress said that the change of ownership happened a couple of years ago during Covid. She did not give a precise date nor time-frame. So, I am guessing that it was sometime around 2021 or thereabouts. Although sharing the same name, the Doraville Ming's BBQ and this Duluth Ming's BBQ are INDEPENDENTLY - owned/operated and NOT affiliated in any way. Separate ownerships. My spouse and I stopped by for dinner today (Saturday 9/23/2023) - I ordered rice plate with 2 meats (Roast Pork - half fatty, half lean, and Roasted Duck Leg), and spouse ordered rice plate with 2 meats (Roast Pork - lean, and Barbequed Pork (Char-Siu - lean). We both received Roast Pork that were IDENTICAL - tough and 90% lean... devoid of flavor, lacking in Five-Spice, soft chewy skin instead of crispy skin... And tasted overall like yesterday's merchandise... like the meat had been refrigerated and then microwaved. For anyone who is familiar with Chinese Roasted Pork, the skin SHOULD ALWAYS BE CRUNCHY CRISPY. Otherwise, it's a BIG FAIL to serve wimpy chewy limp skin yesterday's UNSOLD merchandise.Spouse's Barbequed Pork (Char-Siu) was bland and lacking in smoky flavor. My Roasted Duck leg was tender BUT bland - LACKING in Five-Spice flavor. We COULD NOT finish our meals - packed them to go to feed our dogs.We have TOO MUCH self-respect than to ever return to this terrible restaurant.I consider this restaurant to be BELOW MEDIOCRE - TERRIBLE.Apparently, from reading the other reviews just now... my experience coincides similarly with other people's.For those who actually thought this place is terrific and kiss-a$$ good, I applaud your LACK OF TASTE-BUDS and appreciation for AWFUL restaurants.Lastly,From the time we stepped in to the restaurant and till the time we left... my spouse and I were the ONLY diners. The place was EMPTY of other diners.BIG RED FLAG.P/SI neglected to read the reviews before dining at this place - my bad. I will not err similarly again.
