Got 10pc wing special with included drink and instead of fries I paid $1 extra for fried rice (flavor was ok, oily/wok char mostly), then another $3 extra for what turned out to be only four very tiny shrimp with tails still on ? Not only that, but they used the back part of the styrofoam to-go package with the bump in the middle so you basically get two small cups of rice (most places I’ve ordered from use the larger full section and pack it full/high!), which also didn’t make sense because….>Wings are barely bigger than the smaller similar joints around. Wasn’t told there was also a $1 charge for trying two flavors either (so they not only could’ve fit in the back two parts of the to-go container but would’ve been kept separate too, which they accomplished with parchment paper in the big section instead).That said, the garlic pepper was buttery and a bit too salty, but the Hot was delicious altho not spicy at all (I do have a higher tolerance for spice tho), and really could’ve used more sauce as most of the wings were dry and barely sauced at all. One small cup of blue cheese dipping sauce for 10 wings was not nearly enough either and barely lasted half the order with being conservative. Food was ready to-go within 10mins.Overall it was fine but def not worth $19. Probably a much better deal to stick to special as-is and get the fries/drink and one flavor for the base price of $13 instead.

Been coming here for years and never had a bad meal . Staff is super sweet and accommodating. I come here for the steak tacos and Parmesan ranch fries , they are sooooo good . Fried rice and dumplings are also very good !

Cashier was okay, definitely very unwelcoming vibe in the store. Tbh I think they just hired people that never worked in customer service or food. I’ve worked as a server and the lady at the cash register had difficulties taking my order and was so confused as to what I was saying although I was direct and clear. It’s a good place to eat if you like dry wings and crunchy fries that taste like there’s no potato inside the fry. I wish the wings had more sauce.

Editing my review from 2 years ago, generally it's a good place to visit when I'm in Gwinnett, aside from the rude attitude you get from the lady at the counter not the same that was there today....I ordered potato tacos like always and everytime I ask for no Mayo (hate it) took a bite to find Mayo ? so I asked politely to have others made the lady comes back saying it's special sauce that is definitely not listed on the menu....she was annoyed that i would not budge and eventually received new ones along with my cold fries smh wings were dry and over cooked. I drove from Stone Mountain to eat this? Not anymore. All good things come to an end I suppose. 12.31.23This is no longer Mj's we loved going to this place, it's been our Friday night spot forever but it's closed down and now renamed. Loaded fries, spicy chicken tacos and mango havanero wings are our usual and never disappointing choices. Delicious. Tonight we had the new place, tacos are good...sweet and spicy fries but the wings not even close. I would not drive 30 min like usual unfortunately. Nice staff though so that's a plus. Good luck ?

They do not give refills, how are you expected to eat spicy food with no refills we spent 50$ plus tip and cannot get a refill. Staff is not very welcoming, wings over cooked. When it was MJS tacos it was the best place to eat the wings was huge. They kept some of the flavors but it's not near what it use to be kinda water down sauce.

Tried for the first time today. I tried the wings when it was owned by previous owner aka MJ wings. Food quality has been significantly upgraded and definitely coming back again! Favorite part of the wings is the quality and how crispy it is. Even with the sauce, it maintains the crispiness and juiciness. Highly recommend extra spicy. Can’t beat the price as well!

Older woman at the front soured my experience here. I walked in excited for my meal and was treated rather rudely. I kindly asked for my uber eats order (showing confirmation and all) and was presented my meal by a pointed finger. The food was also just sitting on the front counter for anyone to take. I then decided to take a few extra napkins from the dispensary and was met with a harsh "Napkins are in the bag!" As if I wasn't allowed to take a few more for my messy tacos. I looked at a few other reviews and have noticed a similar pattern regarding this employee and would kindly ask for this employee to do better. Previous owners were never like this.
