I love dduk shops. Especially when they provide a whole bunch of different variety. Even in Ktown LA, you don’t see all the dduk jibs offering that many different types of dduk. I feel like there’s a lot of potential here to build out their “cafe” side a bit more. Change the deco and colors to make it feel warmer and more inviting.

I went to the PIB location after work and the rice cake was very good but the customer service was lacking greatly. As I was walking in, I was stared at from the time I left my car til I got inside. I got a greeting "welcome" and that's about it. This is a pretty small space with limited options. Basically, two tables with race cake stuffs and coffee and tea options behind the counter. Pricing is very reasonable for how fresh the rice cake is and quality. I would probably revisit at a later date

The rice cakes are fresh and yummy and almost all of them are vegan! All are egg free and only one has dairyThey also have iced/hot tea and coffee besides the rice cakes. It's a nice place to study or do some work:)My only recommendation is that I'd prefer the rice cakes come in paper boxes rather than the styrofoam/plastic. I think it affects the flavor and makes a lot of plastic waste.The people there are very nice.Thank you for my rice cakes! ^_^Vegetarian options: Almost all rice cakes are vegan!Dietary restrictions: Almost all rice cakes are vegan! They have the best rice cake in Georgia! And the customer service on the phone or in person is impeccable! The only time I can go is usually after 4pm and they always sell out on my favorite rice cakes. That's how good they are!!!! Now I call ahead of time and ask to hold it for me :).

I visit often and recommend this shop to anyone who appreciates quality rice cakes. All rice cakes made fresh each day on site, not manufactured in another town and shipped in. I would give more stars if I could.
What a unique find! This cafe specializes in their house made Korean rice cakes but also serve cafe style drinks. We don't find a place like this in Dallas where I'm from, so we made a stop. We went on a week day in midday so the place was not busy at all and their rice cake selections were limited than what appeared on their photos. I purchased few of their mini boxes of different rice cakes to try. All of their rice cakes and mochis tasted fresh and even stayed fresh the next day, which made for a perfect road trip snack. My favorite was their pumpkin rice cake, but everything I purchase tasted good. Considering they are house made these rice cakes were also very affordable. Would recommend for anyone wanting to try a traditional Korean dessert/old fashioned food!

This is hands down the best (in terms of quality, variety, and “authenticity”) tteok (Korean rice cake) shop that I’ve seen outside Korea…folks in the atlanta area are lucky! They make the rice cakes fresh every morning and you have to eat them the same day. Totally worth the price!

The BEST rice cake spot in all of Atlanta! Trust me, I have sampled many a rice cake pack from pretty much all the Korean supermarkets in the area (Mega Mart, H-Mart, Assi, you name it), and Sweet Rice is the best, hands down. They regularly sell out if you come too late on the afternoon and all the Korean aunties and uncles have beat you to the best ones, so be sure to come early in the morning for the best selection. The mugwort tastes very fresh in the green rice cakes; sometimes I feel like other rice cake providers are just relying mainly on food coloring rather than fresh mugwort itself. The honey rice cakes (small round ones) are to die for! Although just the plain selection is already VERY good. Yum.I also really enjoy the beverages here. They have a wide selection of teas. This is one of my favorite spots to work from in Duluth. Many other cafes are too hip and crowded; this spot is quiet and the workers leave you to do your own thing, which I really appreciate. Not to mention the place is very spacious for you to spread out and take a call if you need it. Good wi-fi. Whenever I have a craving for rice cakes and friendly, speedy service, I come here!

The Korean traditional (pumpkin) birthday cake far exceeded my expectations! It was absolutely beautiful and tasty! The rice cake was freshly made, vibrant in color and as you can see, beautifully decorated!!!This will be our go to place for traditional Korean rice cakes.They called me to discuss the details prior to making the cake to ensure it was exactly what I wanted.My mom and her friends were so impressed. I was so happy to see how much my mom enjoyed the cake on her 70th birthday! Thank you, Nak Won Sweet Rice Cafe!!!
