This is the first affordable West African food I've ever found stateside! $7.50 for spicy chicken and some sort of yummy veggie plasa. I hope this lunch special works out for them, as I would love to see more of these places offering something for less than $20. (side note: if there could be a veggies+yam special at this price, that would be fantastic).Great playlist, too!

I had the jollof rice and suya. Honestly best jollof rice I’ve had since I’ve been in America. Reminds me of the old “party jollof” I had growing up in Nigeria. I never write reviews, but this was my first time trying this place. The guy/owner told me I will enjoy it after I told him it was my first time. That man told no lies haha. I will be coming back for moreeee and they must be the cooks at my wedding!!! ?/? spot

I always get the grilled suya snapper and jollof rice, love it!! Also tried the pepper goat, it was a little too tough for me but the flavor was good and I’ve had the lamb shawarma which was good too! I’m Caribbean so I’m very picky with my African food and this place got it just right!

I ordered the pepper goat and beef suya combo with jollof rice with a side of veggie stew. It was amazing !! & I was a little nervous trying something new while I was hungry especially on uber eats but this exceeded my expectations. Will be ordering again soon and hope to visit the establishment one day in the future. Well done !

Food was really good. I had the Beef Souya. It was pretty good, but it honestly needs a suce, and the brisket needs to be more tender. The spices on it are good, but it's just not enough, and needs some sort of sauce to make it perfect. As it stands, it was a little dry and a little tough. I also had the vegetable stew, and it was awesome. It had a really nice flavor with lots of kick to it. I also had 12 wings, half of which were lemon pepper, and the other half was jerk. The chicken was really good. It was whole wings, not just the drumsticks. The size was great. These are big chicken wings. The flavor of the lemon pepper was great, and the jerk wings were just as good, with a nice jerk kick. These are some of the best jerk wings that I have had from any restaurant. The food is cooked to order, so it's nice and fresh, but don't expect it to be ready quickly. There seems to be maybe a maximum of 3 people that work there, although I have only personally seen 2 people. One person is cooking, and the other guy is basically the server, cashier, and bartender. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a decent amount of seating. The music is nice, and matches the African and Caribbean aspects of the restaurant. I'd give it until the summer, and the restaurant will be packed with people.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I am soooo upset I literally drove an hour to come here I’m pregnant and I love this place so I came. I get here and I stood in the front for 15 mins without being serviced i literally had to call the number to call them in the back and they responded “yah we see you I’ll be up there” … (been here 15 mins) I finally get my food beef suya and it has hair in it so I go back inside and have to call again to get them to come to the front the man and his wife came and spoke to me together I showed them the hair and took a photo of it. They argued with me that it couldn’t possibly be hair because she doesn’t have hair (she had a scarf on) he has a full beard black and gray. I’m literally showing them the hair and they are still arguing with me I eat suya alll day I know it does not come with hair lol ! … I asked them to just please remake it or refund me the wife was argumentative and came off very mean she gave me my money back and I left … horrible experience
No consideration for uber driver's time, nobody working at the front of the restaurant. Have fun waiting 30 minutes to pick up your delivery. Yall know uber doesnt pay hourly right??

My first time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. Most African restaurants have acquired a commercial taste. This restaurant brings a whole new flavor. This was absolutely delicious. We got the chicken suya jollof rice, pounded yam and greens. That little cup of tomato sauce pepper sauce set it off. Affordable, delicious HOT!!! I'M SOLD!

The food fell off , the chicken was undercooked a bit and the rice wasn't the same unique taste I was used too! It was way better in
