The in laws wanted to host a rehearsal dinner and decided to go with The Cottage as it was part of Payne Corley. It was close and the best part is that the people who coordinated our wedding could get in contact with The Cottage to have everything set and ready as soon as we were finished with the rehearsal. The only reason why 4 stars is because my mother in law was irritated by the communication and losing of the contract. They had contacted them multiple times to set something up and when they did and signed the contract, they lost it in the middle of shifting management around.Besides this snag, they were extremely attentive to our wants and needs. The food was extremely delicious....and my mom got a japanese beetle in her tea ... but they quickly fixed it after my mom had drank most of it...

Classy brunch spot to bring a date or maybe family you want to impress. Food was divine and service was excellent. Recommend the shrimp and grits!

It is beautiful restaurant for brunch. If you plan to visit Duluth, north of Atlanta, strongly recommend to visit. Reservation must. Entrance is hidden. You will find a lovely place inside, a real cottage.

Lovely experience. The food was light and so so fresh! The service was attentive as well. The location is next to the Payne-Corley House and the gardens are beautiful. They also host private events. Everything we tried was delicious but the French onion soup was the star.

They are never open. No one answers or returns calls. Looks like a cool place but sadly, not interested in business

I hosted a bridal shower for 19 people here. It was absolutely wonderful! The service before and during our lunch was spot on and the food was outstanding. George, the manager, was very accommodating and helped guide me through the process. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Cottage on Main for an event or just lunch/brunch with a friend.

The Cottage on Main really hit all the Mark’s! 5 stars from my family for their awesome staff, great location and amazing food for my nephew’s rehearsal dinner! My sister and I were allowed into the venue in plenty of time to decorate and George even assisted us with simple items we forgot. When we returned for dinner at 6:00 we were feasted with a large selection of amazing food! We had small appetizers served while we were mingling at the bar and also while seated at the table. The homemade Southern style Pimento cheese is to die for. My adult family members had the pleasure of ordering each of the entreesand they were all top quality products cooked to perfection. We had the beef and salmon filets, chicken breast and lamb chops. They were all brought to us on time, at the correct serving temperature and were served perfectly with our sides! We had some great desserts served with endless cups of amazing coffee to end our dinner. I would highly recommend this place for any small to medium gathering you are interested in having. They worked well with us and didn’t mind answering our millions of questions along the way! Thanks again to The Cottage on Main at the Payne Corley House in Duluth, Georgia for making our once in a lifetime family event an unforgettable night!

It was our first time here today. We enjoyed everything: the atmosphere, food, service, and prices. They have a bookcase with nice books too. We will be back!
