I think we can all agree that most people look at reviews of restaurants to see how bomb the food is going to be. However, If you are looking for a casual date night, dining in type of environment, this is not the place. The food on the other hand was magnificent!!! I love the efo riro soup the pounded yam, the jollof rice and the brisket was good although, it could have been a little less dry. I wanted to dine in, but didn't realize that they try and make it a "club/lounge" vibe. The music was way too loud for me. You cannot comfortably hold a conversation.THE PRICES!!! So, I don't have a problem paying for amazing food, however, $26 for a stew and pounded yam is a no for me.Not to mention their portions are so small. $9 for jollof rice, $16 for sliced brisket that was a handful!! They need to cut prices or double up on portions if they want more business. We also ordered a corona, ONE BEER= $7!!!!!!!!!!Overall, It was okay, I will go there for take-out if I am desperate to eat some good African food, but expect to pay a good bit!

$30 for a plate of rice is insane and with the portion you get for that price you might as well put on a clown suit if you paying it.

The food is good, but I feel it's over priced. There are other options nearby with food that's just ad good, but they give you larger servings. I paid $25 for jollof rice with beef, and they gave me 3 (beef stew-sized) pieces of meat with my meal. The restaurant is clean and spacious, but the customsr service is lacking. My server wasn't rude, but she had a nonchalant demeanor. It was off-putting. I almost took at as a sign to try a different restaurant. They had also scratched out all of the prices on their menu--which I thought was weird. They have tons of interesting dishes on their menu, and I'd love to go back to try them. Hopefully, this was a one-off experience.

I wouldn't recommend the egusi soup. It's way too overpriced for what you get. There were fish bones in the soup, and it was practically tasteless except for the bitterness. The pounded yam was gluey. Overall a bad dish. 2 orders of egusi w/pounded yam & assorted meats was$53. Neither my brother or I finished it, I actually threw mine away. This was 1st time trying them since Southern Suya moved to Atl, but I'll be traveling to Atl when I want authentic African food. This wasn't it.

If you want a place for homemade quality Nigerian food, look no further! Food is just perfect! A day before, I went to a dinner Naiga restaurant and the food was awful, wasted effort, money and time from my part. I decided to give this place a try due to a good review I saw. I got Amala with Gregorian and ewedu soup., moin moin, spicy panmo, spicy goat meat and it was super!Good job guys! Keep the excellence up!Atmosphere is also, neat, calm and serene

Been dining here for years even through their name change. However, the portion has gotten much smaller and taste isn’t as great as it was but it’s still one of the best African restaurant in the Atlanta area.
