Very good service, wonderful for special occasions. It's just really expensive, that's the bottom line. Consider what other gift you could get for $120 for 2 people. Maybe the experience is worth it, but I'm not sure. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. We did celebrate an adult birthday there and they enjoyed it. The shopping center has been there forever, but it's updated with fresh paint and doesn't appear as old as it actually is.

Don't bother. Reservation times are the same as at a doctor's office - you're still going to be waiting 30+ minutes after your reservation time. Service dropped the ball hard. Even after being sat, no one came by to take an order. Just go next door.

Rushed to finish, very much unethical and unprofessional if you ask me! Quality overall was just okay, not impressed.

Easily the most unprofessional dining experience I have ever had. We had a 7pm reservation for 2 and arrived promptly at 7. We were checked in by a young lady who could not be more unenthusiastic about her job if she tried. My wife and I both commented that we felt as though we were a complete bother to her because we were there checking in. We then sat and watched as the train wreck unfolded. The young lady who checked us in proceeded behind the bar to play on her phone for most of the next 30 minutes. Another young lady (I assume she was a manager or at least in charge that night but I never asked so cannot confirm) began loudly complaining to another waitress about how long someone in the back was taking far too long to get their table’s orders and food out. She then proceeded to take another couple that checked in at the same time we did to a table in the back, only to bring them back to the lobby about 5 minutes later. After another 5-10 minutes, they then sat that same couple again. By this point it was 7:30 and no one had even acknowledged we were still sitting in the lobby waiting. The hostess on the cell phone was so enthralled I am not sure she even realized we were still waiting. At 7:30 my wife and I Made the excellent decision to just leave. Again, no acknowledgement from anyone.I have been to Melting Pot restaurants numerous times and it has always been our “go to” for a nice date night or special event. We will return to a Melting Pot again based on these previous experiences, but it most certainly won’t be the one In Duluth.

This place was great. First time ever going to a fondue restaurant. The service was perfect.. everyone was nice. The food was filling. We got the big night out and kids combo. It was a little expensive but, the taste and experience made it all worth the price.

The service was excellent, and the food was as well. Our server was always there when we needed her, but never hovering. I asked for an unusual drink order and the manager was instantly accommodating. An expensive evening, but worth every penny.

My fiancé and I went to the Duluth location for their Valentine’s Day fixed menu and it was DELICIOUS! Awesome service, great food, no rush, and a beautiful atmosphere. They also had us spin the wheel for a prize and I got a Strawberry Chocolate Squishmallow! Thank you for the awesome experience!

The GM was extremely kind and welcoming. We were celebrating my daughters' grades and she made sure to recognize that. The reason for 3 stars in the service category was because our server was very impersonal and did not seem to enjoy her job. She did not go over anything regarding cooking time, what she was pouring in the fondue, the sauces, the different meats on the tray, nothing. I had to keep asking questions which was so different than the last time we visited. We just did not enjoy her service but the restaurant is nice, food is great, and GM is wonderful. My daughters did not eat all their food and we put in a box to go but forget. I was pretty bummed about that especially because of the price. That was on me though.

For $260 we felt shorted considering the dishes we ate. We could've made that food at home twice as better, dessert was worth it though. For $260, we will definitely go to a steakhouse instead!
