Their food is good. Service is a*** awful. The cashier is always on her phone or away. Online it says the close @9 but they really close @8:15-8:30. Horrible.

I think they've changed ownership yet again :( This used to be our spot for Korean fried chicken but sadly we won't be coming back anymore. Usually when it's changed hands before they made improvements in the right direction and we always came back but now its VERY different so please read: 1)They've changed the menu and no longer have several items including the fried green beans which were really good. Cheese chicken is no longer on the menu either :( 2)The food changed, the chicken no longer comes already sauced it's on the side. This makes a HUGE difference. 3)You barely get any actual chicken. The chicken used to be the best, juicy and tender and big nuggets. You'd always walk away full and could share. Now the pieces are mostly fried bits & couldn't taste much chicken. 4)Meal says it comes with Korean salad and rice. We said yes, I'm not sure if its because we paid for fried rice that we only received the popcorn chicken as is. Definitely not good value at all for 11.99 a basket. Oh and I didn't see the radish any longer. 5)Portions are much much smaller than before. You walk away hungry and having to go somewhere else. :( Only star is for the staff, they are very polite and seem nice, but these changes should not have happened. It was definitely too much in my opinion.

Wow I wish I would have visited the comments before going here last night. I came here to explain about the money I wasted and horrible experience only to see those sentiments already echoed. I've been an AVID CUSTOMER of this place for the last year and a half or so. There are several other Korean chicken spots but this has always been my favorite. Welp not anymore. & I'm sooo disappointed to write this but I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. Omg the food is so gross compared to before. Not only did they remove the only item I order , whole chicken, but they chopped menu down to like aquarter of what it was before. I was hungry so i ordered the wings and quarters. The wings were ok but definitely not the same recipe. I ordered a 4 piece quarter. Again new recipe but not only that, my chicken was completely burnt. The golden color and crunch I enjoyed the most is gone. There's also no white meat on the menu anymore outside of the wings. (breasts/wings were my favorite part of the whole chicken) So yeah I'll never go here again and it hurts to say but I'll have to frequent another spot I found a while ago around the corner from here or Danji in buford by mall of ga. I anticipate they'll be losing a lot of business shortly because these changes are TERRIBLE. If I could give 0 stars, I would

This place used to be my second favorite K fried chicken joint. It recently changed owners and I'll never come back. The menu has changed. They took away my favorite mala flavor and octopus balls. And they totally scam pep of food portions. I always get their leg quarters bc I like dark meat. One Leg quarters mean a chicken piece with a thigh and a leg. On their menu is an order for 3 leg quarters or 6 leg quarters. With the past owner 3 leg quarters meant 6 pieces (3 thighs and 3 drums) and 6 leg quarters means (6 drums and 6 thighs). I order what I always order a 3 leg quarter and only got 3 small pieces of chicken (2 drums and 1 thigh). I felt scammed. I could go to kfc or popeyes for less money more food. Or if your gonna change the menu anyways at least name it differently. Don't offer leg quarters when it's not. I know inflation is rampant but it's not 50%. And be honest with your customers. Additionally the way they run their biz is not customer friendly. I tried to call to place order before I arrived. They don't pick up the phone. When my order is ready the staff is more concerned about cleaning tables than taking care of me and I'm literally the only customer in the store at 4pm. Will never come back and don't recommend this place.

I literally came here all the time! But they recently changed there menu. I use to order a WHOLE CHICKEN (which they don't have anymore). So i ordered two quarter leg. Six piece and three piece. Which costed the same when I use to order a quarter leg (6 piece) and whole chicken. Around $32. I got the order, saw the portions, it was very disappointing. BRING BACK THE OLD PORTION! I understand inflation is bad but its just too obvious the portion doesn't match up to its value. Not worth paying that much to get three drumsticks. Also, they always had white radish and they replaced it with rice bring back the old portion!!

My family and I stopped to grab a bite to eat on the way home after traveling. We yelped to find a place and apparently this place was rated 4.5. This must have been under a different management because it definitely was not our experience. They were out of Korean salad, wings, chicken etc. My daughters order the popcorn chicken dinner, which included chicken, rice and Korean salad. They bought them chicken without anything else. Even so, they didn't want to discount the price for their meals. We tried something new but I would not return.

If you are used to frequenting here for the Korean fried chicken you're in for an unpleasant surprise. I've been coming since they opened and am used to ordering either a 3pc quarter leg or a 6pc quarter leg. A quarter leg consists of a leg piece and a thigh piece so when I order a 3pc quarter leg, I would receive 6 pieces of chicken in total, 3 legs and 3 thighs. A 6pc quarter leg got double the amount. Last week, I ordered a 3 and a 6pc and instead of receiving my usual amount of food, I got half. The prices were still exactly the same, but I received half the amount of food. When I asked why I only received half of my order I was told that there was a recent menu change and the amounts were now half of the old portion, however on their new menu it still states 3pc or 6pc quarter leg. Except now for the exact same price you only get 1.5 quarter legs or 3 quarter legs of chicken which is completely misleading. This was especially disappointing bc I planned around receiving 18 pieces of chicken but only received 9 pieces for $32.98. I understand that food prices have increased, but there was no signage or any type of notice regarding a menu change and if I had known I would only receive half of the amount I would have never ordered in the first place since that now makes this chicken very overpriced. I will not be back

The owner is such a wonderful person that truly cares for his customers. The atmosphere is comforting, and the food is delicious. I recommend the hot seafood soup; I can’t wait to go back!

This is some of the best chicken I've ever tried. We have relatives from New York who come into town every year, begging to get take out from Yummy Place. I just came back from half a year in Korea, and this tops all of the places I tried there too.

This is after hours tipsy heaven!!! The chicken was so delicious, crispy, & hot... Got the sauces on the side, because we can't handle too much oil and/or spice! The potsticker dumplings were amazing and full of flavor! If I'm back in the area I would definitely come back... Wish I had pictures but it was a drunk in love kind of night!!!

Really mediocre and the food was pretty basic. Disappointed all around.

This is a great place for Korean fried chicken! We ordered the Quarter Leg with Hot Honey Garlic and Sweet & Super Spicy sauces, as well as the Sujebi Noodle Soup. The Quarter Leg chicken was crispy, juicy, and delicious - very well seasoned. The Sujebi Noodle Soup was simple but hearty. Customer service was also great!

Yummy Place Chicken truly has one of the worst names imaginable. I'm sure in Korean, it sounds quite euphonious. In English, it sounds just a bit massage parlor-esque. I always get an "lolwut" when I suggest it as a place to dine. I love Korean fried chicken, and I think Yummy Place does it best, at least locally. I like to grab the 7 piece drumsticks for $11.99. White rice is included in the price. Any of the $11.99 chicken is shareable by 2 people. The one thing I wouldn't recommend is the popcorn chicken. It was very General Tso's, not the super unique fun stuff that I look for. Yummy Place has an extensively beautiful appetizers menu with waffle fries, sweet potatoes fries, and even tornado potatoes. I once grabbed a tornado potato, and it was a bit underwhelming. Still, I love unique things like that! Yummy Place Chicken is a favorite spot of mine. I always bring it up as a recommendation for any friends looking to dine in Duluth.

First time eating here with my family. We finally got to try Korean Fried Chicken after seeing the hype on the internet. The place is a small restaurant with limited seating, however we came right before the dinner crowd would start coming, so it was just us(which was so nice!). This place did the Korean fried chicken hype justice. We had the sweet & spicy and honey garlic. It was crunchy and the sauces were very good! My personal favorite was the sweet & spicy. If I could buy a bottle of just that sauce alone then I would! My daughter favored the honey garlic. We also ordered fried green beans, fried dumpling, fries, and combo fried rice. All were very good as well. Though the star plate was definitely the chicken. I do recommend this place and plan to eat here again.
