We came in for some cheese dip to go on St Patty's day and the staff was so kind and gave us some beads and cups! Our friends loved it and thought we made it!

The Duke needs a spring cleaning. Smells like a bar in PCB after Spring break. Maybe the Dutchess can hire a maid.

Wow.... this was beyond words bad.We were the only patrons and got cold, overcooked calamari. Our entrees were cold and tasteless. We now know why we were the only diners here at 630pm on Friday night!

Funky pub off Ashford Dunwoody. Has good pub fare and nice drink options. Service was friendly. Played a nice mix of music while there. Fun place to hang with friends.

Have always wanted to go to this restaurant, but based on this experience we will not be back to this restaurant. The parking lot is always full for this place but apparently this is only because of Fogo De Chao in the same parking lot. We arrived at The Duke at 615 pm on a Friday night and there wasn’t a single other customer in the entire restaurant. This was our first red flag.We had started with the calamari, which was cold and severely overcooked. This was our second red flag.We then shared a Gorgonzola salad which the server happily split into 3 separate bowls for us to all have our own bowl. The salad was the best food we had all night. My husband had the cottage pie, it was basically inedible but we had not eaten all day. The mashed potatoes tasted like dishwashing detergent so I’m guessing they did not wash their plates properly. My mother had the meatloaf. This may have been the worst meatloaf any of us had ever had. The mashed potatoes were pure garlic and nothing else. Very disappointing.I had the fish n chips with an extra 4 shrimp. Everything was overcooked and basically inedible. We each ate about half of our meals purely since we were hungry. All 3 of us would most likely have sent everything back if we were not the only ones in the restaurant. We left around 7:30pm and there still was not a single other customer in the entire restaurant. We have always wanted to try this place but unfortunately this was one of the worst restaurants we have ever tried in the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs areas. We will never return to this restaurant.Best of luck to the owner!!

I came to The Duke during a recent business trip to Atlanta after a night of bopping around to different bars in Buckhead . We were looking for a solid dive and Yelp led us straight to The Duke, which absolutely fit the bill in the best way. We only came for drinks so I can't speak to the food, but the service from Jade was amazing, the company was excellent, and the vibe was really laid back in the best way. The Guinness pours were honestly some of the best I've ever had (and we are tough critics on this). The glasses were clean, the pours were solid, and Jade's company was fantastic. For Jade's company and amazing Guinness pours (plus clean bathrooms which is always a positive!), The Duke is somewhere I'll absolutely continue to go to when work takes me back to Atlanta!

Since Owner would like me to edit my review, I have taken the liberty to remove a star. Duke menu clearly states Beer Battered fish and it is not. You used to do it properly and you have moved over to crumb based which is terrible. Unfortunately Dunwoody Tavern also went the same way.And I was merely pointing out like other reviewers had suggested that offering garden peas with Fish & Chips would be more traditional.I will leave in that your Pretzel bites with Buffalo sauce are a must try.

Walking in at diner time and the place had maybe 5 people including the bartender. We tried it anyway. No music. It was awkward to have a conversation since it was easily heard. If I could have a separate rating for the bartender I would - they were nice and cordial. They tried to turn up the music but it was still inaudible. Food was ok. Won't return

Jade, the bartender did it all. She was great. Provided great service, food, and beverage recommendations. The ambiance was chill. Would definitely come back again.
