We are local to Ellijay and have visited Freedom Tavern on several occasions. The atmosphere and music is great. The food is good - if you ever get it. We went on Friday night, they were not busy, and after 25 minutes of not being waited on, including drinks, we left. The serve staff just seems not to care. Wondering how much longer they can survive with such poor service.

Jessica made me feel like a local.Non-Stop professional energy! Kept going while in town because of how welcoming she is.Sandy is wonderful. Great owner!Amy was very sweet.Food is awesome and well priced.Going home but when back in town I’ll be back.Parking: Not an issue a bit.

Just left Freedom Tavern and we are freaking starving. They skipped us a couple of times, it took over an hour for them to bring our appetizer to the table and it was still FROZEN in the middle. We canceled our order and are eating Burgerking.

Our Duo music group played there Friday November 10th and still have not been paid. So unfair to musicians. I understand this has happened to other groups. So unfair Sandra Pope! You should be ashamed of

I was there twice the first time was great good wings and frendly people. the second time was anything but good ordered wings for 2 of us that is2 orders after 1 hour and folks getting waited on that came in after usalready had there food .so I questioned where is our food . Well the owner wife that took our order did not put it in to the cook her husband. when we finally did get our foodit was the 2 orders in one little tray no napkins or silver ware we had to ask for that . when I questioned the 2 orders in one little tray the owner swife said it was saving me money SWEETE as she wlked away. So i told her I dont need to save money sweety. About 10 min later the cook her husband came out to the bar and accused me of disrespecting his wife. and told us to leave . just glaring at me as if he was going to climb over the bar . If anybody was disrespected it was me and my date. will not be back plus the wings were over cooked with 2 different sause on This review is looking pretty epic! Nice!

If I could I wouldn't have gave one star we had came in from a poker run and me and my husband sit at another table it was a good 15 to 20 minutes when a lady came over and ask have we been waited on of course we said no the sweet lady ask what we wanted to drink and if we needed a menu she didn't even work there only one of the 2 waitresses was waiting on all the tables when it was bought to our attention that the other waitress was behind the bar talking to people I guess she knew well long story short we gave the other lady that was doing her best to help the other waitress we gave her money for our drinks and told her we appreciate what she done trying to take care of us but we got up and left never to return again .....Pat & Debbie.

Then when we left, I saw on the other tables baskets of peanuts in the shells. It would have been nice if they had given us one of those baskets while we waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our dinners!
