I have been driving by this place for too long, stopped in yesterday to give it a try and man I’m sure glad I did. The large chipped sandwich was plenty big and loved the mustard based sauce. Slaw dog was on point , baked beans were good and oh the buttermilk pie ?. I’ll be stopping in here often . Oh and it was very affordable.Kid-friendliness: A neat atmosphere

So I'm from Oklahoma and have been to alot of BBQ spots in the past 15 yrs out here roughnecking. And I have to Rank this place in my top 5..placing them around 2 or 3 hands down AMAZING..we got the brisket ,ribs ,chicken ..and the brisket sandwich.omg folks mouth watering smoked just right and tender..wow and the chocolate pecan pie..wow a must folks ..TRUST ME..ty to the owners

The family and I were not looking for BBQ at all but stumbled across this gem, and holy cow! Or pork. Best bbq for the price, the staff were so wonderful, and the place had more charm than a southern bell. I haven’t had a good bbq burger like that in years! Loved this place and can’t wait to come back. Totally worth stopping in and grabbing a bite.

The food is slow for a bbq place. The chopped pork and brisket were decent but the ribs were only mediocre. The chopped pork was reasonably priced but the brisket and ribs are overpriced for the small portions they give you.

Real home cooked BBQ! Tried the Smokehouse dog (scramble dog w/pork) and was very happy! Good portion at a decent price with delicious flavors! The coleslaw was very good too, not super creamy and very refreshing to the pallette.Will definitely be back at some point!

Sadly been a while since we made it back!!!However delighted to report that the food & service are as amazing as always!!! Tommy is an amazing cook & even better person.Only way to go wrong, his to be anywhere near his place when it's open & not stop in!The best brisket anywhere & smoked chicken, so juicy you'll want to drink the drippings!

This was not a great experience after driving from Phenix city to try it out. Should have known we were in trouble when they gave us a coffee cup for our sweet tea. The waitress offered us a bigger cup but the owner said no we can just get refills. The butter beans tasted like they had just come out of a can. Were not even warm. The Brunswick stew had a sweet Taste to it and it was not hot either. I had the chop pork plate and they cut the hard crust in there That you can't chew along with the other meat. Didn't have much of a smoked barbecue taste. The sauce added no flavor whatsoever. The hottest they had was kind of lukewarm. The potato salad was OK.
