“We love Persis Grill. From the first time we visited before moving to Augusta over a year ago. The food is always delicious and the staff friendly. Calm atmosphere with nice music. The cook was our waiter the first time here and he talked with us like family.“
“My wife and I had dined several times at International Cafe when it was called India Cafe, but recently returned for the first time in several years, joining another couple that are regular patrons. And just as in times past, we had a wonderful dining experience. International Cafe is owned and operated by a sweet couple named Mary and Sebastian. Mary does the cooking while Sebastian does most of the serving. Let me say up front, that this is not the place for those in a hurry, but it is a great place for those looking for a relaxed evening with wonderfully prepared food at very reasonable prices. One of the great things about International Cafe is that Mary will adjust the spiciness of most dishes to the customer's preference. Our friends recommended the Spinach Pakoras with Cilantro Chutney as an appetizer, and they made for an excellent starter for our dinner. All 4 of us had something different for our main course and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My Lamb Vindaloo was super tender and delicious with just the right level of spiciness. If you have never been to International Cafe, or haven't been there in a while, I highly recommend it. I know that we will not be waiting years to return before our next visit!“
“I love the buffet here, and the special is wonderful. They update the lunch buffet menu on FB, and it changes daily. The only days they aren't open are Mondays, and the buffet is every day. It's delicious and the service is wonderful.“
“Love love love this restaurant. Everything here is so tasty! My personal favorite is the badami murg but I have had many dishes and never been disappointed. If you haven’t ever had authentic Indian food - go mild. I typically order most of my dishes medium but less is more here. Highly recommend giving this little place a try!“
“Lahore Express is a small business that packs a big, flavorful punch. The heaping plate of Chicken Biryani is definitely the best bang for your buck and will easily serve two. I got to meet the owner, Shakeel, and he recommends the Chicken Makani or the Butter Chicken. The "Stuff-Your-Belly-Full" meals come in at $8.99, which, in my opinion, has to be one of the best deals in town. Be sure to move Lahore Express to the top of your "6bitesin Where to Eat Next" list. Stay tuned, everyone! This is going to be another exciting year of exploring restaurants and all of the other great local businesses here in the CSRA. Lahore Express is located on Washington Road behind Applebee's right next to your mom's favorite dance club, Shannon's. #supportlocal *Take Out Only* *Hours Tuesday - Sunday 4pm to 9pm*“
“Overall, had a pretty decent experience here for my first time. Not the best, but definitely not awful. I looked up the menu before going because it seemed like the smart thing to do, so I knew what I wanted before coming. The food was pretty good, with decent chunks of chicken in the Biryani and a huge helping of rice.Everything was flavored pretty well, though the Naan was extra tough and hard to chew.Atmosphere and service was just okay. The inside itself is rather small, but the seating is okay. We had to find our own take out containers, which were stacked on a cart near the register. It was easy to get in and get out. It doesn't really strike me as a place that's great for a good sit-down meal, but rather a good place to get Indian take out.“
