We have been laziza fans for a long time! Since the original location but the quality at the Evans location has gone downhill since you never see the owners anymore. I spent almost $30 on lunch and the gyro is soggy with hardly any lettuce or toppings in it (mostly just meat and sauce) and it’s not even seasoned well. I could not eat it. I added feta and it had two chunks in it. My husband and son went the other day and said they were disappointed then to with his falafel wrap and my sons gyro. What is happening! Please bring back the old lazizas we love! Anyone else having this new experience??

I will say I have had decent experiences at laziza before. The problem was in corporate and not a full representation of the employees, but still partly the employees fault. They were really nice and understanding of my situation tho. But today was a disappointment beyond my comprehension. Their portion size of the chicken shawarma patter was smaller than anything I have been served anywhere for a dinner. It was an insult to the culture it represents. As an establishment that represent Mediterranean culture, they failed as a company in my eyes. You go into any real Mediterranean restaurant and you leave fulfilled. It's hard to screw up Mediterranean food tbh. But they did that to the highest degree. The demographic of people this food represents is a people of hospitality, that gives, they take pride in what they serve to others, they make sure you had enough to eat, to not leave hungry. To represent the culture, you have to actually put effort in representing the culture. For the 18 dollars I spent for my plate, I expect a decent amount. Enough to fill my stomach up and maybe a little to bring home. It wasn't a lunch portion, it was a dinner portion. False advertising to be honest. No Mediterranean restaurant I have ever been to served so little for a plate of food for that price. It was scraps tbh. Not enough to even feed a small child, but maybe enough to feed a small puppy. I spent over 100 dollars. The falafel was bland and under seasoned. The shawarma was not any shawarma I have ever had and that was not any sort of compliment, the exact opposite to be precise. I had a big family order of food to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. We asked multiple times if everything we ordered was in the to-go bag and they assured us everything was in order. But as it would turn out we were missing a part of our order. A company who's ego is too big for their own good.

We’ve been enjoying Laziza for several years now, but Friday night was such a great experience that I had to come on here and leave a review. William provided us with a fantastic experience for our large group. He went above and beyond to make our dining experience amazing as we celebrated a friend’s birthday. The food is consistently delicious, and I cannot say enough good things about the lentil soup, the lemony cauliflower, and their falafel! A+ every time. My only request is that they add Prosecco to their wine list. Pretty please!! :) thank you for an amazing experience, William!Kid-friendliness: Definitely a family friendly establishment

My wife and I have been coming here since we were dating - maybe 12 years? When the food is good, this is the place to be - gyros on point, fries with enough seasoning, and a spicy shawarma that has been my usual for years. But there is not a high degree of consistency across visits, which has been a usual complain across our visits - sometimes the hot sauce is forgotten from the spicy shawarma, which costs extra. Sometimes the entire side salad doesn't make it in the to-go order. Extra meat is sometimes the same as no extra meat for to-go orders (when the wife and I order the same thing but I pay extra to get extra). Ask for the old pita when ordering for sure! I'll be back again, and again - because even when it's bad, Laziza's is still good.

It’s been really long time since I ate here. I think the last time was around Covid time but chicken shawarma was my favorite. I’ve been craving for it so we decided to order for my bday dinner. I remember chicken shawarma was seasoned with spices and not sauces. But yesterday when we ordered Family Feast for takeout, chicken shawarma was soaked in sauces. It had strong taste of tomato like sauce. My husband ate beef, daughter ate salmon, I ate chicken shawarma and little bit of chicken kebabs, and son ate chicken kebabs only. Few hours later he got sick which I believe to be food poisoning. Started with headache and stomachache and later ended up throwing up 4 times last night. I also had mild symptom but not much since I only took few bites of chicken kebabs. Husband and daughter are okay so I believe it was the chicken kebabs. I gave 2 stars cause the salad was fresh and hummus was really good. Rice was missing from our order. Very disappointed. And we had lot of leftover since it was only for 2 adults and 2 kids but ended up throwing it all away just in case. Evans location needs to be more careful with handling the foods and cooking it well

Several vegan optionsWas part of a LARGE group (26) who met here for lunch. While several vegetarian items can be made vegan, others have no label but happen to be vegan like the baba ghanoush, regular fries, wraps used and the pita bread. The garlic sauce is vegan but obviously not the Tzatziki sauce.Because I was paying for a large group, I wrote down what I wanted to show the cashier-the Vegetable platter made vegan by omitting cheese. It was brought to me with cheese on it. So I had to return it to the kitchen to have a new dish made without the cheese. I had confirmed the day before that the falafel wrap was vegan so likewise I had VEGAN falafel wrap written, and I was given both the garlic sauce and the Tzatziki sauce so tired of returning items I ate neither. The baba ghanoush and regular fries both tasted good.SEVERAL orders from our group had to be returned. Very friendly staff. Food came out quickly.

Last time I went .. I invited my family .. I paid 100$ and the chicken pieces were extremely tiny and dry !! The shawarma was horrible!! It smelled so bad as if it was chewed before !! Very little portion of rice !! I regretted going there and will never go again !!

i Place an order on their website and when I received it the lentil soup that I ordered was replaced with an extra brown rice and I wasn't notified about it, but i was still charged the same price. terrible customer service, I spoke to the manager & she informed me that the refund had been processed on doordash (the middle mans) end, but that was not correct, so she lied to me. doordash had informed me nothing was processed.

The food is great, it's usually a quiet place, I've never had a service issue. Some of the prices need some adjustment IMO. Other than that if you want to surprise your pallet with something from across the pond I suggest you give them a shot.
