I cannot wait for this place to reopen. I am saddened to hear of the owners family emergency, and am thankful they have the ability to take the time to address their own needs. I, and many others, will be happily waiting for their healthy and happy return. This place is always delicious ?

I come here weekly, and today was the first time I got the steak philly. It was delish! I usually get the lunch special with the tenders , and all of the flavors are amazing. The service is always great, the food is made to order, and it's pretty fast.

Hot, fresh, tasty!!! If you haven't tried yet, you won't be disappointed. Batter they fry in is tasty. Shrimp and fish basket with okra and hush puppies was great. So much food couldn't finish.

Place is always empty, and I'll explain why. All times I've been there they mess up my order to some degree, then want me to pay extra. Rather than correct THEIR mistake, I'm supposed to pay more? Staff is rude and dismissive. Typical in Augusta I know, but no excuse. Avoid this place.

Whether I eat in or get take out everything I have gotten from here straight slaps and I've eaten nearly the whole menu at this point. Also, the name says it all. Don't come here looking for low cal/fat food or healthy choices. This is one of my favorite greasy spoons! ?

Two stars only because the food is okay. As for the service? You'll get better from Comcast or Verizon. Went in with my three year old, ordered a drink. Paid for it. Noticed they didn't have a water feature on their sink fountain. Went to the counter and asked the employee if she could fill the cup halfway with water so that I didn't have to subject the toddler to all of the sugar in the only non-soda option in the fountain. She politely told me no. "We can't do that, but you can order a bottled water and do it yourself." I get that you want to make money, but I ALREADY PAID FOR THE DRINK! Am I being petty? Perhaps. Maybe it just goes with having kids.
