Service and pizza and atmosphere were excellent!Kid-friendliness: We've got 5 ranging 2 to 11yrs and had no worries about anything. The waiter brought them crayons and coloring pictures and cups with lids and a high chair. The joint is noisy...but not too noisy...so we fit right in. Televisions everywhere so when coloring was done they watched some sports and had a ball.
This place is just great! Great food, great drinks, great service, evn the music was great. I mean just a vibe overall. I’ll be in here every chance I get I love this place

Me and my husband have been coming to this location for a while. Never had a problem until last night. My husband ordered a beer on draft and I did as well. When we received our drinks. My beer looked flat and it tasted flat. Hardly any bubbles. My husband even tried it. Well the waitress came over and I told her about it. She said she would tell the bartender. Again the waitress came back with the same beer and yet flat again. There was hardly any bubbles. The waitress asked me do you want the michelob in the bottle? I said I'd rather have draft beer. So I had order a Miller Lite on draft. Same ordeal with that one. At this point I'm frustrated. Again the waitress said I will go get the Manger. I said ok. Well the manager walks up.i could tell she already had a attitude. The Manger said the waitress told me you were having problems with beer. I said yes this is the 3rd one the first two were the same and both were flat and ordered a different and it was flat. The manager says Well I have been pushing beer out all night and this is first I'm hearing about this. The Manger says do you want it in a bottle? I said no. What others do you have on draft? She said well we have 56 different ones. I said well what are lite beers. Shhe named them off. I said I'll have the coors lite. The manger says do you want it in the bottle? I said no i want the draft. Like i just told her i wanted draft beer. She grabbed the beer off the table and she she rolled her eyes when she walked off. The manager not one time apologized. Another thing is its not my problem that you been pushing beer out all night and no one has said anything about it been flat and also I'm not going to drink flat beer. If I wanted to drink bottled beer I would drink it at my house. They need to check their kegs!!!! And need new management.

I've been coming here since they opened. It used to Fat man's West. I remember the road rearranging and the rezoning. I miss the old pizza joint. But my loyalty still brings me here for local pizza and a good beer!! ??

The food here is great but the speed and service, not so much. My husband and I ordered pizza, Stromboli, and wings. We never received the wings which is unfortunate. If the service was quicker I think this place would be a hit.

Love the food , service but went there on Sunday afternoon 2 pm - 58 degrees outside - sat us near the front - the first table behind the receptionist - the air was blowing hard - ask our server to move us - but still the air and temperature was cold - feels 60 degrees - told the server - she said “ she has nothing to do with it” -boy - what a response ???

I placed an order for 2 pizzas. One was traditional and the other Detroit style. Each was supposed to be a 14" pizza. When they brought the boxes, I immediately noticed a problem with the Detroit style. The box was barely 14" in diameter, and the pizza inside was much smaller. I politely and without making a scene asked a staff member to take a look because we are all human and mistakes happen. He initially said, "No that looks like a 10" (the smaller size they offer), but the bartender insisted it was accurate. Rather than make a scene, I left. I just won't be going back, and I recommend you don't either. For verification I have photos of the two pizzas. This is what almost $50 gets you at this place. GO SOMEPLACE WHERE CUSTOMERS ARE RESPECTED OR SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I more often than not try to give places the benefit of the doubt, however The Pizza Joint has disappointed me on multiple occasions now and I cannot recommend it to anyone looking to sit down and eat here. Firstly the wait time on multiple visits has been horrible, I have had to wait an 1:00+ for food in one instance. Secondly the food quality has been mediocre, my most recent visit myself and another ordered the Red Top Detroit pie and received a very sorry looking pizza that was presented horribly (see attached photo), yet we decided to eat it regardless as this is how the cooks decided they wanted it to be served to us, and maybe it tasted better than it looked, not only was it an oversized burnt cheese stick, it was room temperature as well. Disappointed with the sauce amount my accompanying guest asked the waitress, who did not ask us about the food until we have eaten well into it, for a side of marinara, which we did not receive until we were practically finished eating, and were charged $1.10 for sauce that should've been added in the first place. Lastly I must say the service was not amazing, not very attentive and still expected a decent tip by the end (I could tell because when I left the building she stuck herself out the door and parted us with a very passive aggressive "Have a great day, and thank you for my tip!" she had to of checked the kiosk for how much I tipped as I did it through the website, very entitled behavior). Overall the restaurant has disappointed me twice now due to its lack luster service, long wait times, and awful food quality. Avoid this place at all costs!!

The wings are the best in the country.. I've been to all 50 states, and have lived in 5. These are the best wings.. The Bartenders are amazing and so fun to be around. They make pizza joint a worthwhile visit. 1010 recommend to everyone! Furthermore, the managers and servers also, are so nice and just great people! Lastly, Pizza Joint - Evan is such an amazing environment with fantastic relaxing lighting!
