Went on a Sunday after church. I read the reviews before going some were good and some were bad. And I wish I had paid more attention to the bad reviews. The food wasn’t all of that and like one review stated it’s not prepared for us. Meaning African Americans. Food was very bland. There was a variety of things on the buffet. My husband loves fried green tomatoes and they were burnt or fried to well. I tried some chicken dressing which tasted more doughy than anything. So I wouldn’t recommend it at this time. I know I won’t go back. It served the purpose at the moment.

Walk in paid and sat down. Waited at least 10-15 mins for server to come to my table and never did. So I had to go make my own drink, get napkins, and my own straw. Then I went and got some food and literally all the food looked old and was not fresh. I tried the fish, chicken, butterbeans, and a roll and they all tasted terrible, even the rolls were too hard to eat. I tried several different plates and they all were bad!!! Food was not fresh nor was edible. Even tried to get my money back and was told sorry no refund after I explained the food was terrible. Use to go to this place on a regular, but I WILL NEVER EAT AT THIS PLACE AGAIN! Do not waste your money on this place because it's went downhill fast and is no longer worth eating there, not to mention they raised their price as well.

It's like eating at a neighbors house after church. There are plenty of good eats for everyone. It's cozy enough that you can make new friends at the next table. Give mama a break and stop in.
