I don’t know what was going on This past Saturday March 23 around 5:30 but there were about 7-8 people at the bar, I think 2 other tables were occupied, and then my wife and kid and myself at a table. We waited a few min for a menu, not a big deal, ordered 3 drinks. Took about ten min to get the drinks and a different server brought them because apparently the original server was busy. Fine, whatever. Then we waited another 25 or so minutes before I had enough and we left.Went down to Johnnys and had food served and half eaten in the same amount of time with excellent service and great attitudes from every worker we saw. Completely different experience.We’ve eaten at Rachettis a couple times before and while it wasn’t anything to get excited about it was also a perfectly fine experience. This weekend was the opposite.

Part 1-When we went to get our pickup order that we placed an hour prior (due to it being a deep dish) we were left there waiting for our food another 35 minutes...get home and the order wasn't even correct. The pizza that we were told takes an hour to make ended up being a flat crust supreme! The rest of the order was correct except the pizza that had us waiting an hour and half for. Called to get a refund but good luck trying to get in touch with the owner. And when you finally do all he wants to offer is in house credit! Sir, why would we return?! Don't waste your money, they are not a "Let's keep the customer happy and coming back" establishment.Part 2- The audacity of this owner and his response to my review trying to make me sound like I'm an idiot....yes, we went to YOUR location and yes you did speak with my husband. Believe me if things were made right that night, I wouldn't be leaving this review.

Jackson Hewitt Mid Season Get Together with 30+ guest. The service our server LISA provided was AMAZING!! We had just about every option on the menu and the food was HOT and GOOD. The deep dish pizza was amazing. Each server that assisted Lisa did an great job as well. Surprising enough we all received our meals back to back. The Cannoli's and Cheesecake are a great choice if you want desert. Thanks again Lisa for your AMAZING service. Rachetti's is definitely on our list for future get togethers.

If there is a way to give zero stars, I would do it this place is so bad not only is it not Chicago food? It’s not even pizza you can do better with Papa Johns Poor excuse for a beef sandwich I should have known when The waitress said, what type of gravy you want on it she said traditionally, it’s marinara? which is totally wrong it’s supposed to be an Italian Ajou The Italian beef didn’t even have peppers on it which is a Chicago staple for a beef sandwich look up the menu online they’re better off, not serving food just leave it as a bar terrible food terrible service stay away from this place

LFF I don’t know who paid you to write that review or maybe you’re stoned this place is the worst food I’ve ever ate in my life it’s absolutely not Chicago food they don’t have a clue on what they’re doing it’s like I went to Hoosier Ville there’s dogs people smoking it’s dirty they don’t know how to make an Italian beef it clearly says on the menu that the Italian beef is baked. If you’re from Chicago, you know your beef is not baked! stay away from this place I don’t know why it’s still in business

Ordered a deep dish pizza. Was not cooked all the way. Cold in middle and mushy bottom. The beef sandwich had a nice flavor, but for a papa being a big sandwich, it was not. So disappointing. They also charge a %for using your card.
Cozy place, great food. Hands down the best vodka sauce I've ever had. Paired with the toasted ravioli it's a house favorite. Great specials on Tuesday and Wednesday. Buy one get one pastas or half price 16 inch pizza. Nice local spot.

I have seen alot of negative comments lately but to be fair for any one bad experience there are 20 + others that are great. People tend to only rate when they are not happy. I ordered a deep dish today and it arrived perfect and 15 minutes before expected. I don't generally give reviews but fair is fair. Take reviews as what they are.

We ordered delivery 2 hours ago with the website indicating it would take about 35-45 minutes. Almost two hours later, I called to check on the status to be told they are really busy. I asked to speak to a manager who asked if we ordered through Door Dash because the restaurant uses their own drivers. No apology, just an “it should be there soon.” Unacceptable. Ordering at 5:50 pm and getting right before 8 pm with us having to check on the order is bad business. Evidently they take the Door Dash fees for delivery ($80 for two people) and it arrived cold. Never had a problem dining in except they take a little longer but the food is good.

I've given it almost 5 years before returning to Rachetti's (that we still call "Ras***tis") and it's still 1 star. Joked that maybe I'll give it another try in 5 years. Service was friendly, but slow and inattentive. The brunch food is foul and flavorless. A gelantinous pile of gravy dumped on top of what might have been rice, mozzarella, bread or the fluffy stuffing from inside a pillow. Whatever the "philly cheesesteak breakfast bowl" consisted of, it didn't resemble a bowl so much as it was a plate of cement. We felt gross when we left.
