After 25mins a lady walks over as if I’m bothering her by waiting for service, she asked in a bothered way what do you want, I then was not offered anything to drink. I got the message that I was not there and I got up and left.

If you are a minority I would not recommend this establishment due to the distasteful customer service and questionable hygiene practices.When our waters no ice were served, there was a thin oily film on the top surface of the cups. Several tables were served their sushi orders before us despite being seated afterwards. We stopped counting after at least the third set of patrons were provided sushi before our one $20 sushi order. When we disclosed to the presumably head waitress at the time that we’d would rather not wait for the sushi roll anymore after waiting over 45 minutes, especially if the chef hasn’t prepared the sushi roll yet, we were told “He’s working on it right now”. We were understanding since there was only one person working at the sushi counter, but it was the poor management of the scenario and having multiple waitresses brush us off during the meal that left an awful aftertaste for what was suppose to be a celebratory mother daughter date.I’ve been to numerous Japanese restaurants of different prices ranges across the country and this was by far the worst dine-in experience I’ve ever had.100% would not recommend.

Food is good and hot at the Shogun. But!! Just be sure to double check your bill and your signed receipt. They add 18% gratuity without telling you verbally or on the receipt.

My daughter and her friends ate here 1/27/24. They wanted to share plates but the staff were highly annoyed (understandably) but treated the girls terribly. One hour after eating my daughter become violently ill for the next 18 hours and spent the night in the ER.

We were traveling late from Tallahassee, FL and found ourselves north of Atlanta on 985. We had no idea what or who to visit for supper. We saw Shogun's sign and quickly decided to give them a try. We are glad we did too! The food was delicious and athletic Japanese as well. The food was great and we recommend anyone that loves Japanese cuisine to please give Shogun a try one night.
