Wasabi is conveniently located about halfway from our home in North Carolina to my daughter's house in Georgia, so we have been making it a regular stop whenever we make that trip starting about a year ago. This latest time however the quality was not quite as good as on previous visits. Specifically, the fried wonton served as a pre-meal treat were a bit on the stale side. I had the sushi-sashimi plate and the fish didn't seem quite as fresh as it could have been. My wife had the garlic pork and like the other food, it just didn't have its usual zing. I will definitely give it another try, because anyone can have an off day. And previously, Wasabi has been very good.

I've been eating at Wasabi for yrs and many of my friends have as well. They are kind, service oriented, the food is consistently hot, quick and excellent! They have excellent soups, Chinese, spring rolls, sushi, Pad Thai, Masaman and other Curries, and Japanese. Without exception, everything I've ordered has been really good! I recommend going and don't think you'll be sorry.

I had high hopes for this place especially because they have high ratings. However, after trying it, I couldn't understand where all the good ratings were coming from, so I felt compelled to give my honest opinion. Now I've been eating Asian food practically my whole life and I must say this restaurants food, for me, was by far the worse I ever had. The rice smelled like pickled feet. The General Tso's was more like General Soy Sauce, as in the sauce was not sweet and spicy like you expect your average General Tso's to be. It was bland and tasted exactly like low sodium Soy Sauce. On the menu, they have a little chili pepper next to the General Tso's describing it as spicy. Well, it wasn't...Like at all. False advertising. Thankfully, its been three hours since I tried the food and I'm not sick. Hopefully I don't get sick because I have no idea why that rice smelled so bad. Praying I wasn't given rotting food. We paid a little over $40 bucks for our dinner. Needless to say, it was a waste of money and we weren't impressed nor satisfied with our purchase. Anyway, not going there again, thank you and good luck to future customers because apparently, according to these ratings, its hit or miss.

Japanese food is fine but they have NO clue on how to cook Chinese food. I had to order her because my wife loves sushi. Bourbon Chicken was a joke. Overcooked chicken that I could've made a pair of leather boots with...Obviously we had takeout and the surprise happened at home. Wasted $13.
