She proceeded to tell me to wait instead of seating us due to a non reservation group outside of 6 or more when the table for 2 was available . We watch them attempt to create a table for group before seating us and failed due to bar tender highlighting that her attempt to create a seat for group was a fire hazard. They made us wait 7-10 while seating the none reserved group. Their children were aloud to frolic and sit at our reserved table for 2 touching the rolled silverware and table after waiting outside for an hour and didn’t not reset our. The same table I already reserved before this group arrived. Salmon salad was blah but salmon was good. And definitely order ribeye medium well. My server Lauren was ok but . “I was told by a friend to try this restaurant. I seen reviews from years ago that they are hardly ever opened. One day about 3 months I decided to stop in. It’s under new management now. I ordered the birria steak tacos and OMG!!! So good. I also had the seafood egg roll and the Philly cheesesteak egg roll. I eat here at least 2 or 3 times a month now. I love the owner. She’s so very sweet and the food is amazing and authentic. This place is a must try!! ❤️“

“We had the pleasure of eating here while on a short trip to Atlanta. We had to wait a little before being seated but we were told it would be a little wait. The restaurant is located inside Hilton so we were able to wait in the hotel lobby. We were seated and our server (Kiana I believe was her name) took our order. They brought complimentary chips and salsa which were really good, the chips were still warm and the salsa was fresh. Now for the food, husband ordered the gumbo which he did not finish because it was overly salted. The breading on my blackened catfish was too greasy and there was more breading than fish. However, the tarter and remoulade sauce was great and the fries honestly was the best part. Our son ordered the chicken Toluca and he said the rice and beans was the best part. Our daughter ordered the smothered beef burrito and she said it was ok. We did have a little snafu with a part of the order but it was quickly addressed and handled and the manager was so gracious and sincerely apologized for it which can be a rarity. The restaurant was nice, there was music playing and we always enjoy that. To sum it up, we felt the price of the food did not mesh with the quality and taste but we will likely go back and try something else since we did enjoy the service and atmosphere. FYI: Make a reservation especially on the weekend.“

And by the time I was digging in, I was too far.Got the jambalaya as my side. Little dry, but quite good. Quality Fresh Seafood just happened to be next door to the gas station and thought it has to he better than fast food.I got 1/2 lbs of jumbo shrimp, 1/4 lbs of scallops and oysters.I didnt care to much for the scallops as they we really tasteless but the oysters and shrimp were great.“
