Fresh from being completely blown away by the quality of the bolillo roll we were served next door at La Cocina de Mama, we just had to stop in and see where it came from. Panaderia La Potosina is a small neighborhood bakery with an array of Mexican baked goodies, (I swear they have fresh baked cupcakes that are as big as a softball), cold drinks, an ice cream bar and a large selection of religious candles and pinatas. cute small bakery with an old school feel you don't find in megagrocery stores. i went here for some pan de muertos. i was at a day of the dead festival, and sadly they ran out. well, the boxes were still at the place, and i found the name of this place on the label. i gave the a call to ask if they had more pan de muertos and a few days later took the trip to forest park. most places along buford highway seem to run out of it rather quickly and it is a pain to go from bakery...read full review
