“I took my husband here for his birthday. We have never been to a Korean steakhouse before so we wanted to try it. While making the reservation it asked us if this visit was a special event and I put that it was my husband’s birthday. I was hoping they would have done something special since it was a birthday and they asked me to specify but they didn’t. It’s okay though because the food was extremely good and our server Kevin was the best and very knowledgeable. We were a little shocked that they don’t serve any drinks. They only serve water or alcoholic drinks. It was different than what we are use to but we still loved the whole experience and would highly recommend this place to everyone. The steak was amazing! The inside of this restaurant is very nice too and the atmosphere was very great for a date!“
“I’m from Knoxville so every time I’m in Chattanooga I stop by Unknown ?. I’ve waited in the rain and sun. It’s always worth the wait! The bartenders and support staff are always top notch and kind. I ask alot of questions and they always humor me and are happy to tell me more about the cocktails. Last Sunday I was in town for a wedding and we stopped in and there was no wait and we had our choice of table or bar! We chose the bar duh! Seth was exceptional! 10/10 everytime! Try something new! “We had a wonderful lunch here! I got the burger with an egg and fries which was amazing and juicy and my husband got the pepperoni pizza which was delicious and large enough for his lunch and both of our dinner paired with the leftover fries. Overall very nice lunch! Highly recomend!“
“This is an awesome BBQ spot. Very fair pricing and great service. I had a pulled pork sandwich (which was delicious), Mac and cheese and chips for my sides. My family of 4 eat there for less than $40 including a 20% tip for the awesome staff. Our server brought out my food and said he was t happy with the kettle chips I was portioned and brought the whole table a huge plate of chips (I thought my original plate looked great but appreciated their high standards and matching level of service). I would highly recommend Eddie's Bar-B–Q.and it conveniently located with lots of cool shops near by and a electric car charging with in a couple mins walk.Vegetarian options: Plenty of great side, dishes and vegetables for vegetarian options.Parking: Plenty of parking available and there is an electric car charger within a three minute walk.Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly. On the back patio there are several play houses for kids to enjoy. There is a bar inside, but all the patrons were very respectful. “The food and service was great. My daughter and I ordered flap jacks for the younger kid which came with bacon and eggs. The teens ordered waffles and bacon and potatoes. My daughter had steak eggs and potatoes. I had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was friend to perfection. “The food was so incredibly good! We are from Southern California and this was by far the BEST Mexican food we have had EVER!I got the burrito off dinner with carnitas for the meat. It was so tender and full of flavor. My husband got stuffed poblano pepper and he said it was the best he ever had.I only took one off for service as our server was a more interested in talking to bartender than checking on us.Very off the beaten path but so worth it.“
“My husband and I were visiting Chattanooga and ended up here one night. Fantastic decor, ambiance, service and drinks. We went during the week and it was quiet, nice to sit and chat. Love the couches and chairs, nice and comfy! The bartender apologized because their speakers were out, and music was playing, just not loudly. Maybe it's normally louder.“
“Tried Paloma for the first time last night with a girlfriend, celebrating our birthdays. Our waiter was friendly and the food was tasty. Had hoped for a better sunset view but the plastic coverings weren't clear and we mainly watched the traffic. Still nice atmosphere. Loved the asparagus and bacon wrapped dates - the calamari flavor was different than advertised (more sweet/smoky than light and lemony) but good texture. Enjoyed the chocolate mousse dessert. Also don't be like me and keep looking for parking and end up on 27 going across the bridge and back. Pay to park for $10 in the church lot next to main entrance“
“The ambiance here is calm but fun. My wife and I enjoyed Valentine's Day here. I got the El Hipster, and she had the sangria. Both were very good. A lot of restaurants around Chattanooga make drinks wrong, but Mezcla knows how to mix drinks. We started with the bean dip, which was delicious. She really enjoyed her shrimp tacos, which were a bit spicier than she likes, but she said they were very good. I had the burrito loco and loved it. We will definitely be back.“
“Best Chicken Taco Salad ever! I have had a lot of Mexican food in a lot of States, this was the best Taco salad, nicely grilled chicken and caramelized onions and peppers and great topping. Their salsa may not be the best I ever had, but my other two friends had wonderful large and delicious meals as well. Going back with our spouses!“
“The good: Hannah is awesome and extremely helpful with recommendations.Beer is awesome - loved the funky ipa. Cocktails also were on point.Most of the food was amazingly flavorful: the charred broccoli, tomato toast (which had way more than tomato on it!), and the fire roasted pasta with shrimp. Oh my goodness all of these were so good.The only negative was the flank steak. It’s like it was sous vide for too long or something? We were basically served boiled beef - it was med rare in the middle pieces but totally over on about 25% of it (and zero char/sear). 100% of it was flavorless and water logged. Super disappointing considering how good everything else was. The loaded mashed potatoes were a very tasty surprise.Totally looking forward to our next visit (sans any beef ;).“
“My friend and I found this place by happy chance, just walking around. The place was packed but as there was only 2 of us they got us in right away. We were greeted warmly right away and were seated. Even though the place was busy we were given ample attention by every server that passed by. It's a quite fancy place and we were challenged reading through menu as they use the correct Italian names (I loved that btw but we are simple people over here) But with Yelp pictures we were able to make our choice. I decided on the Ricotta Cavatelli and I added chicken. It was so perfect! My friend got the salmon and said it was cooked perfectly. My favorite part was the seasonal vegetables that came in the dish, everything was cooked perfectly.“
“Phenomenal. We tried the app sampler because it was a hard decision, and we've never been to a Cuban place before. It was all so good, next time I won't be able to decide which to get! And it was a good amount for 2 people as well. Since we couldn't take leftovers with us we decided to share the Cuban Sandwich on the server's suggestion, it was so much food we were barely able to finish. I would love to try some of their actual entrees next time we're in the area. The only thing I wasn't into was the fried plantains, I have had plantains served a different way before and didn't care for them but thought having them as "chips" I might enjoy them better. I have decided plantains just aren't for me, but my husband did enjoy them pretty well. I'd try a different side in the future.“

“My fiance and I came to Chattanooga for a weekend getaway. She usually can't make up her mind on a place to eat so I didn't fight this Sunday brunch selection. I was completely and utterly impressed by the food and service at this establishment. The staff actually voluntarily came by and spoke to us about local activities and events. The waitress legitimately cared about her provided service and listened to my needs too. When I couldn't make a decision on my meal she brought me a taste of both dishes. I needed something different/unique but I always lean on normal/comfort foods. Their PB&J French toast was that new, I needed! Holy Wow that should be a taste experience everyone gets the chance to enjoy! I also got a small side biscuits and gravy with eggs while in my comfort zone was unique in flavor as well! She had eggs benedict with fried green tomatoes I think it's their self-titled dish. It looked like a small portion of food but it was deceiving and was more than enough, also delicious. Very clean restaurant and right on the river. Connected to Edwin hotel that while kind of pricey (did not stay but considered it) will be our next reservation.“

This was the place that my now fiancee and I chose for our first date, and it was delicious two years ago, and it is STILL just as delicious a week ago, the most recent time we've gone! Highly recommend that you go to try it out, and then get a group of friends and go as well! “It is a great neighborhood hangout and sports bar! We arrived at 7:30 pm, and the place was still packed. One of the staff saw us walking in and got a table with 4 chairs ready. It is March Madness, and Tennessee was playing tonight, so it was a loud and jovial crowd. Our waitress did a great job getting us our food and drinks quickly. Guests can order at the bar or have a staff member wait on them. There are only a couple of staff who actually wait tables, so it is incredible that they can keep up! Our food was absolutely delicious! I had The Faith, which is a 6 ounce chicken breast that is battered and fried. The sandwich has lettuce, tomato, American cheese, bacon, and wing sauce. It was tasty, juicy, and big! I was thoroughly impressed! I had a mixed drink, which was strong and good. The rest had a beer recommended by our waitress. They really enjoyed the choice. “Fat Tuesday was my first time visiting, I came alone and still really enjoyed myself! The food was amazing (I had a blackened redfish taco, a bbq pork & slaw taco, and the jalapeño corn fritters), the service was incredibly friendly and attentive (I had about 6 different servers ?) and they have an extensive alcohol and draft list and great weekly specials!! I DEFINITELY will be back and attempt to make this a part of my monthly rotation and will definitely be spreading the word to friends.“

“We stop in here time to time for a drink after work. The staff is always super welcoming. It’s not often a bar manager is so involved and helpful with their staff and guests. If you stop in, have a convo with Jeremy and Lisa, my two favorite bartenders. Both are awesome and always willing to provide a tasty drink.“
“Scottie’s on the River was recommended to us by a local hotel. Sometimes there can be a bit of hesitancy when hotel staff recommend certain restaurants, but boy were we glad we asked! This restaurant had MAGNIFICENT service, food, and atmosphere. We have a child which always is taken into consideration when making dinner choices but once again, the staff was great with kids! Alex was our server, and despite being in Chattanooga, we actually grew up in the same exact remote area in the opposite end of the state. He was FANTASTIC. He and his trainee made great recommendations that did not disappoint at all. Rarely on a vacation do you want to do the same dining experience twice, but I think I could eat there 3-4 times a week and rarely order the same dish as it has a wide variety of cuisine on the menu! I would HIGHLY recommend the chop with apple cinnamon chutney but the cheese balls as an appetizer was also a great choice! Normally run of the mill restaurants you get great food with sub-par service and vice-versa, but service and quality were great. They also didn’t rush you or make you feel pressured to turn over table to generate more revenue. GREAT time and worth giving them an opportunity to make your stay in Chattanooga a notch better in dining aspect.Kid-friendliness: Coloring provided but staff interaction and going out of their way to make sure my little one was taken care of made it a notch above the rest.“

“This is the best Mexican food I've ever had, from here to Texas. Everything is so fresh and full of unique flavor. Their chips and salsa are one of a kind. This is not your average Mexican Restaurant. I suggest the Birria, Street Tacos, or Mexican Tacos, but whatever you choose, you will love. I tried something new today (steak Taco Salad) & it was phenomenal! The Salsa Diablo is a great addition to any meal if you're into spicy food. I order here religiously through DoorDash, Call-In, and In-Restaurant. This place will forever be THE BEST!!!“
