2 Dog was okay at best. The food was way over dressed. I ordered the Italian sandwich and the mustard was literally dripping out of the bun. The service never checked on us until we were leaving. The inside is nice but the floor "bounces" whenever someone walks by. The restaurant is scheduled to close at the end of this month, so I'm not sure if the staff no longer cares.

So, I'm pretty disappointed I didn't try this place sooner. I can only hope the new ownership doesn't change much about it because it's amazing. I'm local but a friend from out of town came and we wanted to go somewhere local so I recommended this from hearing good things. So we went for lunch. I'm a vegetarian and ordered the black bean burger which was really good. Nothing crazy and greasy but a filling sandwich that had fresh flavors and didn't leave me feeling weighed down. He had a chicken panini and said it was good. It looked good and well presented. The staff were more than nice and friendly. I have zero complaints about anything during our visit. I also tried a cocktail that had my interest and it was fresh and not sweetened more than it needed to be. I'm quite picky on cocktails/mixed drinks so the fact it didn't taste like syrup was a huge plus. Overall this establishment, while changing ownership, was worth visiting and still is! We hear the new owners will be keeping things fairly similar so I hope not much changes. It's a fantastic place with good and fresh food. It's also an easy walk from the square.

Came here on a Saturday with the dog which wasn't a problem as they had good patio and it was nice weather. I got the Greek Rosa and it was good; almost like a feta based pizza with toast for the crust. Our waitress was also attentive and helpful, especially as for a while we were the only table outside, which I appreciate.

Let me start off by saying, front hostess, amazing service. Everything else, Trash. Nothing seasoned. Food tasted bland, tasteless, no one in the group liked their food. This place makes Waffle House seem like a 3 star Michelin restaurant . If I was starving, and someone offered this, I would turn it down. I don’t why it’s called 2 dogs, I don’t even think a dog would eat this. Water tasted bleached, prob from a dog bowl. See attached photos.
Fun decor. Friendly service. The black cherry was my favorite flavor in the mimosa flight. The country fried steak was very good, and the shrimp frittata was yummy. Try the cheese grits. They are amazing. An onion allergy is hard to navigate, but the server did a great job of finding us the right things to complement our meal. We'll be back!

Went to 2 Dog Cafe with friends for lunch today. We all enjoyed great food, especially the salads. Our server was attentive and took good care of our table. As it was my birthday lunch, I was given a bouquet of beautiful flowers. They were arranged by Anita White from Gatherings in Lula, GA. Everyone thought they were so pretty. Thank you 2Dog for a wonderful lunch with good friends. We will be back!

There are lots of local details you won't find elsewhere. Personable staff,good food,changing menus, plenty of things to keep you coming back. The prices aren't insane and there is even a compost spot outside. They're very environmentally conscious, and you can tell by the way they operate that they love what they do.This isn't a corporation or chain. This is a place made by and for the community. Always had a great meal here until today. I am usually there around 11 but today was 1:30. My food was not made to order. The temperature of my food was as if it were all premade & over sterno all morning. The cheese in my eggs wouldn’t even melt. The grits were hot, English muffin is always good. The dropped off complimentary beignets. The sauce was good but not a true beignet and very greasy. I will give it another try because everyone has a off day but I will be there before 12 next time.

Went there for lunch average at best. Ordered the chicken salad sandwich on their homemade bread. The bread fell apart. I also got the bread pudding what's tasted like it was undercooked kind of grainy. Service is good and it's farm to table so that's cool but probably won't be going back.
